Where specifically are they rubbing? Front or rear? (or both)

Front, haven't located it yet but I'm assuming it's the wheel well itself

Offset or spacing issue? Too wide a wheel/tire?

Check the inside shoulder of the tire, then look at the wheel well and look for any rub spots. I've had vehicles rub on A arms, wheel well protrusions, and the fender itself before.

i guess i just dont drive it enough to see any major wear yet.
only time it rubs is when i pull into my driveway and my wheels dip into the gutter and when i hit speedbumps on a hard turn

I wasnt really worried about it at first cause the lift from baja should have been going on in the next few weeks but now EVERYTHING is kinda on hold since we just found out my grandfather has cancer. only a 2 years after loosing my grandmother to the same thing. So since i can no longer afford the install or the time out of state to get it done ive become a bit more annoyed by the rub..... Oh, and after being gone for a week found a waterspot on my driver seat like there was a leak but cant find any other signs of it in the truck other than a odd smell that could just be stale air. fun F^*($& times

First and foremost, sorry to hear about your grandfather.

Check for rub marks on the cab mount at the bottom rear of the fender well. Also there is a pinch weld on a cab seam just above that. Have you trimmed any plastic in the inner fender well? Couple places there that can be an issue.

Thoughts with you and the family man.

The rubbing, from what you said and when it does rub, sounds like the tire is hitting the UCA possibly.

Anyone think a group meeting at Somernites Cruises "Custom Truck Show" weekend in April in Somerset, Ky. is a good idea? Friday night Thunder at the Somerset Mall, then Saturday the full day rod and custom car and truck showing in downtown followed by cruising the main drag on Saturday night.

Really sorry to hear about your family. That obviously always takes priority.

What is the BS on your wheels, or the width of them? The easiest way to tell where rubbing is occurring is to remove the strut, bolt everything back together, and cycle the suspension with a floor jack. You can then see exactly what is rubbing, by how much, and if something needs to be done about it. It might be as simple as putting a spacer on your bumpstop to limit a tiny amount of uptravel. Or it could just be that you need to hit a piece of plastic with a heat gun and get it soft enough to reform. That's all I had to do on my wife's 4runner luckily. Unfortunately until you know where it's rubbing and why, you can't really fix it without possibly doing a lot of other unnecessary things to the truck.
