I've been eyeing the Hobart 140 for a while now. Just afraid to pull the trigger on one!

I prefer to run gas but will run flux core when it's too windy for gas. "Super welds" was an idea I got from Levi lol, worked great, very hot, probably unnecessary lol.
I've heard a lot that for what I do I shouldn't have bothered to get the 240v. I'm not exactly a surgical welding master though, enjoy the confidence of one pass welding :welder:

Let me know when the work days are and if I'm not at school or working I will make my best effort to come out! I have basic heavy equipment running skills (skid steer, mini excavator, tractor/backhoe) and I can bring a roller to help compact the driveway

The fact that you have a roller in and of it self means I love you lol
A big part of what I have to do is get as much done before anyone ever shows up so that the large group isn't caught up doing bullshit I can accomplish myself. I may have to borrow you in trade for some booze next time I'm able to get gravel dropped

Is there city water on the property? The roller I have is a water filled type. But don't let that fool you, back when my family was still organizing lawnmower races in new Albany I made many tracks with that roller and a garden hose and I can hang sand bags on it to get some extra weight. I will definatly try my best to be out there on the work days. Give a couple weeks notice and I can ask off work and guarantee I can be there.

They're not too bad. You can get utility pumps from harbor freight for less than $50, there's one on there for $34.97 that pumps 1350 Gallons Per Hour.

    Cool
I'll have to swing by and pick one up then and then coordinate with you.
We are trying to find someone to come drop a shit ton of gravel currently and thanks to their local economy sucking there is no company out there that does it since their quarry closed
(Now it's go to the quarry and load up what you want)

I know there is a construction company in Wayne County that hauls gravel, but I have no clue how far that is from you...there should be one in Albany, as well...

Call the Clover Bottom rock quarry in Jackson County. They have been hauling gravel like crazy over to the Clay County line and into Owsley county for the new road going in. The quarry is owned by Allen Company and they will deliver it or coordinate delivery with one of their contract haulers.

They just had a "trail day" last weekend, and there's another one on the 25th. From what I know about it, which is scant, the existing trails are ATV/SxS stuff, but will be opened up a little more to accommodate "jeeps". I'll see if I can find the link to the trail day and post it here.

    Facialbook link.
