It's not a hard park. I would only go if it is sloppy lol. Most trails are small hill climbs that are to easy if it's dry.

Sorta figured....I'm 99% that the plug has been pulled on RedBird. Thinking me and the Mrs might be exploring @ RRG area. (Looking for new ORP) Early weather forecast looks kinda wet. Thinking we will re-schedule Red Bird for a date when more people could attend.

Thinking we could hook up @ Miguels for lunch, then go find the ORP park. Weather will determine further activities! I saw one forecast that was calling for heavy rain. Another said partly cloudy. I have no idea!

Well if you want to meet up and explore a little I'm in.

Miguel's and Hollerwood are about 9 miles apart on Hwy. 11.

We'll figure out the details by the weekend. Looks like Nick might be there too. I'd really like to find this new park. This is the closest ORP to home (besides Dirty Turtle).

    When/where fellers?

I've got diff and t-case fluids to do this weekend. And slap on the tailgate skin too!
Speaking of, anyone have the torx bits I could borrow for the time we're together? We can put on the skin, then you take your tools back.

I just did the google map/directions and have them printed. Looks like Hollerwood is VERY easy to find and just past Slade. The wife wants to hit the gift shop @ Natural Bridge State Park for something she meant to get last time we were there. Then we'll probably head to the ORP, or maybe Miguels for lunch first.... Google says I can be @ Hollerwood in 2 hrs-7 minutes from my driveway. (They might not know how slow I drive:turtleride:)

BTW! It's good to see Kentucky Forum/group starting to get more active! Lots of us involved in this hobby, and a lot of good off road opportunities in the state.

I'm gonna pick up a 3/8 drive set from HF or Amazon soon. They're getting to be a more common head on bolts/screws anyway these days. Worth owning my own set.

I think I have 1 T15 or T30 bit, everything else is smaller than that.

Let's do this! I'll be leaving very early Saturday morning, should be there around 10:30 am. (5-6 hour drive for me). Will definitely be camping Saturday night, leaving Sunday around 12 most likely. Any takers?

We won't be camping, but we WILL be there. Glad you can make it. I was kinda bummed about Redbird not materializing. Sounds like we can bail out the weekend anyway. We can meet up in/around Slade at some point. We should be there by 10 or so Saturday morning. I'll switch to channel 11 (CB) once in Slade or use this thread/site to make connections (assuming decent cell reception in Slade)

Middle of Dan'l Boone Forest. I doubt there's much cell service, but maybe.
