I'm leaving from work Friday at 2:30 and camping. Don't know where yet. I'll also be camping with my buddy and his ole lady Saturday night.

Going to try and iron out some details tonight/look at the map. My buddy was talking about camping at Red River Adventure which is a typical mainstream family campground. It's a ways away from Hollerwood and doesn't pique my interest much.

My primary goal is to just camp. If anyone wants to join and explore some fire roads I'm game.

I don't really want to hit the park when it's going to be soup all day long.

There some fire roads like the 100s and 200s at LBL in DBNF, right?

    Very good point Brent.

I'm not too sure I'm ready to get LBL muddy again so soon. Even though I'm still carrying it in my interior, the outside is pretty much cleaned of it.

Yeah man I'm the same way. I don't want anyone to get the wrong impression that this is a wheeling trip for me. I'm going to camp with my buddies and if we do our own thing Saturday I'll meet up with y'all and see what's happening.

I'm mostly interested in camping and doing some scenic drives. Doesn't need to be anything serious by any means. Never have been to the area so would love to just explore. And have someone that is somewhat familiar with the area.

Im wanting to see where the park is at, but not so much on making it a mud fest. Perfectly fine with gravel road scenic tour.

Wish I could join on the weekend plans but I'm headed the other way. Down to LBL to visit family

Howdy! Not sure if you're up to date on the circumstances, but your boss, Laura, that I asked you about at the get together, her husband (that worked for me) passed away on March 6th.

I'll plan on being at Miguel's around 10-11 on Sat. I'm game for about anything after that. Look forward to meeting whoever shows!

Its a tad pricey but it is good. Especially after a long hike.

    Pricey as in...?

My wife and I ordered a pizza at a little roadside joint a few years ago. Never thought to look at prices (not on menu) This was the only place for miles in either direction, so we were hungry enough to just go with it....after all, how expensive could a pizza be?

    $55 for a 15" with 6 toppings.

    I always ask after that.
