It's all the questions related to mhz/khz, and the little rules about vanity plates that are killin me. plus the schematic questions. Basically most of them.

So, as proven in my earlier post, I just guessed the Band/ Frequency stuff. But there is a handy chart at ARRL that breaks out all the bands and frequency's allowed I discovered post test. Printed it out the other day.

The study link that Ebbs posted up is actually very helpful. I just haven't found a lot of time to study. I read through some of it last night. Might have to do the toilet study routine to make it sink in. But that cuts into my Tinder time...

I think there was only one question about vanity call signs... who can request a vanity call sign.... so just remember any license can be vanity... the longer the call sign, the "lower" the privilege...

There was one about Vanity Call Sign format, the one ending XXX being the correct one...

    What haven’t I changed?
My computer fought with me for a little bit but I was able to get it going. The cable that I have is based on a Prolific PL2303 chip, which is the one that needs a specific older driver version 3.3.2.102 dated 9/24/2008. Newer versions of the driver have some sort of DRM that renders older cables with that chip (genuine or not) useless. The next hurdle I ran into was that Chirp wouldn't let me upload the CSV file. I guess I have to download the current config from the radio first and then override it by importing the CSV for the upload option to be available. But I have it all loaded. Oh, and something is wrong with row 103 in the CSV. Chirp wouldn't let me save it.

Ha! You just described everything I was talking about in the post you quoted :D
103 is Longmont FD and it's the only one with "Cross" in the Tone column so that must be it.

Working on a revised CSV now.

Yes, you have to download your stock config (I'd recommend saving it) and then modify it by importing from the csv or a chirp file or another .img config file.

A year ago, when I programmed Andy's radio, even though we had the same radio, his firmware was different so putting my config on his wouldn't work, we had to modify his stock config too.

Also, be careful with that list @chenbro . There are PD and FD frequencies on there. On MY radio they're set so I can't transmit on them, but depending on how you set up yours, you might be able to. I probably shouldn't have put that out there.

So here is a link to a folder with our 1st draft, semi official TacomaWorld Colorado Chapter Ham List :D

    https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B0nBiqObudNyQjFFZ3RxdWFucjg

I'm sure this will get modified over time, but at least it's a place to start. If we all run this list, it'll be easy to just say "We're on channel 23" or whatever.

As stated previously, use the CSV to import into your stock config (after saving it first)

    You have information "Alpha"

If you set your radios in chirp there is an option to set chA to freq# and chB to freqname or vice versa

I was thinking about doing that Andy so I could tune both to the same channel and see the frequency.

I might just print out my channel list too though.

@aero3685 once someone confirms the link to my Google Drive folder works, maybe you could put it in the op.

I like having mine that way. It makes it easy to share with someone who doesn't have our local file
