LoL, I went riding last weekend and had to wear a T-shirt in lieu of my jersey because it was so warm. I don't mind it being a bit cool, but damn...80 in december is nuts.

    :D

    But still enjoying it.

You Sir, are more man than I. Haha. When I was younger I used to ride all year, but I was able to ride from my yard to the trails, now I no loner have that luxury and I need to pay to go a track, and they are all closed. To stay honest, I probably wouldn't go anyway. Not MX, maybe trails though.

Here is my 1998 CR250. Love this bike, lots of fun. Mostly stock with the standard FMF Gold Series Pipe, FMF Slip on, and Pro Taper bars.

Looking to get my first bike since the Honda mini trail I had back in elementary school. There's a 2003 yzf250 for a decent price in my area, any major problems or anything I should look for with this year?

Anyone else from NJ ride Dual Sport, Enduro, or Adventure...?? I ride down in Wharton State Forest. NJ Pine Barrens. Great place for street legal dirt bikes and your 4x4's (Tacoma's). 100,000+ acres loaded with over 800 miles of sandy fire roads and trails, all 100% legal. Anyone else ride there? Just got back into the dirt a few months ago, and only know of the Pines to ride. Only had street bikes passed 20 years. Most places I use to ride are now gone/built up. So, lookin for other spots to get dirty......:p

Bolt for my kick start sheared off in the shaft... did everything possible to remove it. No dice.... $62 later I'll have all the gaskets and the shaft. Hopefully surgery goes well Thursday I'll have my kick start back. Thank god for Estart lol.

So I'm looking into buying my first dirt bike this tax season. I've rode lots of quads, three wheelers , and a few of my friends 110s, 125s and of course 50s. Though I have never gotten much into brands and have never owned one to know which ones are reliable and worth it. That being said I also am on a budget and want to get the best bang for my buck. I feel like I can just respect the throttle and learn to ride well on a 250 rather than having to buy a 125, sell and buy a 250.

What bikes are good to start looking at? It'll be a used bike probably no newer than 2005 unless its a really good deal

First off what are you wanting to do? Race, jump, dual sport, enduro/xc?

Sorry should've mentioned that. Something to take to a track for fun, probably won't race. Also want to take to Glamis and dunes
