The long tubes will be shipping from Thorley hopefully later this week.

They are all at the ceramic coater and as soon as they get back to Thorley they will be shipping out. What is left over will be shipping to URD on a big truck!

If you ordered something with them like sim, gaskets or other stuff that will be shipping from URD.

I've seen two dyno sheets w/ these headers. One was on an FJ I believe, and the other was supposedly on a taco. The latter actually had much better low end graph compared to the FJ's. Not sure why. I'm going to try and do a before/after dyno, but that wont be for a while since I probably wont receive the headers for at least another week, then I need it to warm up a little before I can do the install.
I doubt there is any significant change in MPGs.

Can you share the "latter" dyno? I've seen the FJ one the DT puts out, and is on URD's website, but haven't seen this other one. The low-end power loss is still a concern to me. I've heard differing accounts on whether low-end is lost or not.

This is the one I was referring to. Looks much better to me than the FJ chart. (fwiw, I hate how all the charts posted are so damn small). Anyway, this is apparently the 4.0 acoma w/ headers and exhaust. Found it only through searching, so I cant verify anything on it. Just trusting the guy who posted it was giving an accurate description.

Yes, tq peaks first and your tq/hp #s always cross at 5252rpm.

If the damn graph was larger it'd be easier to tell, but it looks like no change under ~1700rpm, then tq increases gradually til its peak (increase over stock) at 3200rpm.

Also, if I can see clearly, it looks like a max hp gain of 19 and max tq gain of 13.

And although peak #s are far from everything, the overall graph looks great to me. Hope its more accurate than the FJ one :-X

Thanks for posting. This is what I would expect the dyno curves for a set of long tubes to look like. Just wondering why DT puts the one out that they do if a better dyno does exist.

BTW, I see a max increase of about 17 ft-lbs @ 3300 and 14 hp @ 5500, but the consistent increase and flat torque curve is what looks good.

Not sure. This is clearly a better graph though. Does the one from the FJ have any cats installed at all? The only thing I could think of is that the FJ graph had no backpressure and maybe lost all its low end that way?

i am going to be getting the shorties for the 4.0L. Just wondering if i needed any gaskets like the LT need. There is not an option like there is on the LT page. wont i need a gasket for each header where it bolts to the engine? Thanks...Mike
