You'll need new crush gaskets for between the y-pipe. The head gasket you can get through Toyota.

There is an option on the purchase page for the headers...at least for the LT ones...never looked at the shortie's. I assume you are sticking your old cats back on there?

If there is not an option on the order page, I'm sure that you can go to your local auto parts store or Toyota dealer and get the crush gaskets.

Says on the URD site you can reuse the gasket for the heads.

Note: The stock crush to seal gaskets used in the connections between the Y pipe and the exhaust manifolds should not be reused. These gaskets should be replaced. You can select the "INCLUDE GASKETS" box below to have two heavy duty additional crush to seal gaskets included in your order.Doug Thorley recommends that the stock cylinder head gaskets should be reused and new cylinder head gaskets are not included.

Im not sure why it doesnt say you need new crush gaskets on the shorties but I would get them all to be on the safe side to ensure there are no leaks. Better safe then sorry.

I think it's because for the shorty's you weld it to the cats so there is no need for gaskets.. As for the header connecting to the motor, you would just reuse the old ones.

You would still want a new gasket between the ypipe and cats though. Personally, I think a new head gasket is worth it too.

with regards to a new head gasket, any suggestions? is the dealer the best option to get a new gasket or are their better gaskets on the market being sold at a checkers or autozone type of store?
