I understand that. However, I dont buy it as an excuse and certainly not as a justification. This is his day to day business. If you dont want the business b/c its overwhelming, don't do GBs. (btw, do quick math and see how much they just grossed from this gb...he should be more than happy to talk to the people who made this a successful gb) Your customers are your life line to success, treat them w/ respect and have some humility if there was an error. I owned an online business for 5 years before selling and handled a ton of gb's. I know how much work it is on his end and I can appreciate that. I just dont understand why he sounded so annoyed at a justified request and apparently, neither does drrabbithead.

Anyway, I'm not mad about it and it certainly wouldnt keep me from recommending (or buying from) urd in the future. Email communication regarding invoices, shipping, where things are shipping from, etc, has been great.

Drop shipped, but I havent heard anything about them leaving DT yet. I dont know if we're getting a shipping notification from them or not.

No real sound difference (thankfully, in my case). Definite improvement in acceleration. Steve

I understand your point, and you certainly entitled to pay someone a tip if YOU want to. You were charged an agreed upon price and you didn't receive an email questioning your integrity.

Myself, I would not have tipped him, rather I almost certainly would have purchased other products from him at their regular internet price because he was nice enough to pull together the GB and save us some money. That being said,
    1. If he comes onto the forum and tells people there was a mistake with his website
    2. Tells people that he accidentally overcharged them
    3. Requested that they notify him to receive a refund
AND YOU DO THAT you shouldn't be treated poorly for his mistake.

If you feel so 'over joyed' that you want to give him a tip... by all means, do it. I just wanted to pay the agreed upon price and have a respectable transaction.

Shouldn't be too much to ask IMO.

Edited: For what it's worth, I still am greatful for the GB, the OP and even the manufacturer and Gadget for putting this all together. I just hope Gadget is reading this thread and considers his actions/emails more carefully in the future. I'm a Tacoma fanatic and loyal customer if I'm treated properly. Why is it so hard to find a reputable aftermarket retailer?

Anyone know when the headers for the 4.0 are supposed to ship from Thorley? My invoice said shipped the day after I ordered, but when I called URD they said they were still being manufactured at DT. Anyone have any idea?

Amen Dr. ..... your not the only one turned off by ungrateful retailers. Unlike yourselve I'm less forgiving and take my business to those who seem to appreciate my hard earned dollars. Perhaps things will change when they realize the orders are not coming in as they used too. What comes around eventually comes full circle. Expendable cash will soon tighten and those who provide good customer services will get first consideration. I for one will spend more for good customer service, that's my "tip" to that vendor . They have earned my business. :D
