fwiw, I never received tracking info on the short tubes. They just showed up out of nowhere...so ya never know, they may do the same for you.

 

the issue im having is that ive had several answers on this... most say its passenger and some say is driver....the code reads P0052 HO2S Heater Control Circuit High (Bank 2 Sensor 1) ... are both of these sensors the same or are they different..im getting tired of seeing this damn cel light so i need it fixed.....

 

did your short tubes come from urd or were they drop shipped from thorley?

 

ya mine didnt come with them either but i am lucky that i live about 15 minutes from thorley, so gadget told them i was coming in and they had them on the desk when i walked in.

I never got a tracking number but my long tubes showed up today too! Too bad I won't have time off of work any time soon to install them.

 

were the 2.7l shorties supposed to come with "bungs" i just got the headers, the connector u piece and 2 bolts/2 nuts

I spoke with thorley yesterday afternoon. They said there would another batch of 4.0L long tubes ready at the end of this week.. hopefully mine are somewhere in there!

 

Nope, you don't need bungs, that is all you need. The O2 sensor is below the header on the 2.7l.

if you look 28 spots above your name you will see mine so i dont think signing up any earlier would have helped. I had the funds already burning a hole in my pocket 2 weeks before the coupon was sent out and would have had no problem paying retail to have had them by now but i wanted to help hit the 20% off mark and my order was placed within minutes of receiving the gb code so i dont think that made a difference either. I have no problem with waiting but 22 days since my order was placed is a long time to wait for anything especially something i have wanted so bad for so long. Im sure the wait will be well worth it i was just expressing my frustration.

 

got my 2rz header on yesterday, im very happy with it. My stock manifold had quite a few cracks in it so first off my truck is really quiet inside now! next it actually "feels" a little slower but i figure thats because before it would "kick" around 3200rpm then again about 4500rpm, but now its very smooth all the way to redline (which feels a little higher also but ill just assume). With the stocker coming up hills i was just slowing down in fourth maxing at 60ish mph, now i can scream up, literally as fast as i wanted to go up. given i did do an airbox mods at the same time so its breathing nicely now... Last, surprisingly it is a little louder, sounds nice but a little louder than i had preferred.. All in all i like it, but time and my right foot will see if i gain any mpg's

 

x2, I was #7 on the list and purchased mine as soon as I got the code as well. Still just some O2 sensors to keep teasing me on my tool box.
