well there was a small leak at first but now it doesnt leak and it was leaking water, so i would think the cat is functioning properly. unless all of a sudden the cat stopped working? If it was the o2 sensor, it would be the second one down the line right? Are the driver and passenger side o2 senors interchangable, so i could check?

Probably not the most helpful response coming, but.....
How did it leak at first, but not any more? Welds (and metal) usually doesnt fill in their own gaps. Maybe I'm misunderstanding.
As for the sensors; Check the part #s. I dont know that they're the same or not off the top of my head. But I'd imagine you could always check the resistance on the working one and compare against the (potentially) bad one?

It was leaking at the flange where the first cat connects to the rest of the exhaust. It wasn't a big leak, saw some drops on the ground and some more were about to drop.

SOunds like its just an issue w/ the gasket then.

And I'd probably start w/ the sensor. From previous posts, they seem a bit fragile and its not uncommon for them to get damaged during removal/installation.

Maybe it is the gasket, I didn't even touch the 2nd sensor, only the first one which would give off another code if it was broke. Maybe I will change the gasket and disconnect the battery and erase the code and see what happens

while trying to troubleshoot why i was getting the codes someone informed me it was due to an exhaust leak and it turned out to be true cause the gaskets were trashed.

i use a scanner called Innova 3100. Got it from Kragen Oriely. it was $130 i think. There was one that was a little better that was a little more and one that cost like $40 but all it does is scan code and give you the code. Mine tells me what the code means and other fancy stuff.

The latest update is that Thorley expects to ship the remainder of the outstanding 1GR long tube headers Friday.

That should take care of everyone except for just a couple of people that need an odd header for 4 cylinder applications that are in production now.

According to the website they are emissions legal, you basically weld the cats from the og to the new so emissions system should still be working.
