Is your crank pully the same size as the stock? Also, where did you purchase it from?

I wasnt in on the GB, but found someone who decided they didnt want there LT headers so I got them from him for the GB price. Got them from him today. Unfortunately I go to Afghanistan this weekend so we be able to install them until I get back in 6mos. Just another reason to get back here safe and sound (wife, kids and headers!!)

My guess is the Gibson is coupling with the headers and causing the rasp. With the stock exhaust things don't sound bad at all.

how much was the installation ? i went to several shops and it seems that the prices are different by a couple of hundreds. so im wondering what you all paid

please leave feedback on installation if you have the doug thorley shorty headers on a 4.0 tacoma! shops charging me 800,650,and 300...with prices that ranges like that doesnt sound too good, and it makes me so skeptic on who to go to

yeah thats what im thinking too..most of you guys can order the long tube because your state isnt gay like california..cali is wayyyy to strict on emissions..trust me,i would have bought the long tube as well, but the shorty was my only option

How long did everyone have to wait from the time of purchase to the time it arrived at your home?

I ordered mine on the 7th and still nothing, and I cant get any response from DT either.

lol i envy you tho..i did my smog yesterday and i failed the visual with a TRD intake that is 48 state legal..the guy at toyota was curious,so he tested me with the TRD intake and the tested me with the stock box..not surprised that the TRD intake ran so much cleaner than the stock box..good luck getting smogged with the long tubes though
