yea you should be fine. the only way they will smog you is if they smell it.... I am running DTLT's, URD Y, and TRD exhaust..... i have no cats, so mine smells and ill probably have to buy a high flow cat or two.

Only had time to get the long tubes on today and what a difference they made. One tip in case you are trying to install with a wideband sensor in the collector on the drivers side you have to have it out of the header before you try to install it makes life so much easier. I am going to try to get both pulleys installed along with my gauges tomorrow if its nice again outside. I tried to get a decent vid today but failed ill try to get one up asap.

Got mine installed today. Took me about 4 hours including about an hour cutting new threads on one of the O2 sensors that pulled the threads out of the old manifold.

For the 05+ long tubes I found it easiest to work through the wheel wells to get the nuts off the engine block. Using a ratchet with a universal and about a 12" extension was the easiest for most of the nuts, some of them I used a 1/4" drive ratchet to reinstall. I also took the propeller shaft off instead of the steering linkage to have clearance to wrestle the new headers back in on the drivers side.

I was freaking out cuz I threw a P0051 code right away... turns out I didn't plug the O2 sensor back in lol. Now I just gotta tighten everything again and replace a nut I dropped somewhere in the engine.

All in all not a bad install at all, I'd give it about a 3 out of 10, Nothing really difficult just some awkward places to reach.

Now I want a Y-pipe and MAF cal!! It has a nice deep sound coupled with my TRD intake and exhaust. Im not noticing any rasp yet

I wasn't part of the the group buy, I went to urd to order the headers but they were more expensive then the doug thorley site, so I bought it through DT instead. Ive been trying to call DT for like a week now and it just rings threw. I'm starting to get a little irritated.

I ordered through this website http://www.dougthorley.com/

I'm starting to think it was a bad idea.

I just got off the phone with a sales rep from dougthorleyheaders.com and was told that dougthorley.com is a legitimate distributor of their products. My order has been placed but they are back ordered for another 3 weeks.

I guess their customer service isn't quite up to par when it comes to getting back to the buyer, well at least I know that some fake website didn't take my money now

I havent been able to install my headers yet and wont be able to until september or so. Has anyone noticed a big difference in sound with the headers and a stock exhaust? I dont know if I want to add an aftermarket exhaust because I am afraid it will be to loud.
