I grenaded the rear shock on my KTM 990 adventure. Where is a good place to get it rebuilt/ravalved? I know a lot of guys like superplush, just wondering what else is out there. It's a lot different than a normal dirtbike shock. Thanks. Oh, and have you guys seen the trailer for the new "on any sunday" ?

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic about the tank having to be full, but there's a vacuum operated pump in the tank to pull fuel from the points lower than the petcock.

Also, the weight difference from stock is only +11 lbs when full.

    Stock tank empty. 10.5 lbs.
    Shrouds. 3.0 lbs.
    HT PD bars and
    required mounting bars 11.5
    6 gal. gas 36.5
    ------------
    Total 61.5 lbs.

    IMS tank empty. 11.5 lbs.
    10 gal. gas 61.0 lbs.
    -------------------
    Total 72.5 lbs.

I hope this comes out locally. We don't get a lot of these kinds of films in small midwest towns.

Me too. I also live in BFE and know what you mean. Sometimes they still play movies that are out on DVD already lol.

My A* Toucans just arrived, and they don't fit. When I meant a US 13, I didn't mean a boot that is meant for someone with petite feet.:mad:

My local dealer started carrying Triumph. It's good to see more manufacturers getting into the adventure bike market. How do you like it?

I ended up getting my suspension revalved at Konflict Motorsports, and they did a fantastic job. I had a WR450F and CR500R before my KTM, and this is my first "street" bike. Konflict valved it like a dirt bike and I am as happy as a puppy with two peters with how it rides now!

I also spooned on some fresh shoes for the big girl.

I just got the Tiger XC last week and its been dumping snow on us so I only put 50 miles on the bike .
It has more power than I can use on the dirt . I was and still am leary about triumph and really can't explain outside of my Yamaha's and Honda's never let me down .
I rode my buddies tiger last year and is a solid bike , there was a dealer 45 mins from me and gave me a awesome deal on a 2014 13500 with hard bags . The 2015 are 17k+ with no bags .
I traded a FZ1 I was not using and got a good number on that .
I really like the 800 XCX , got to see that bike close up , I would buy that over the KTM 690 Enduro R , having had a few of the KTM's had to put a lot over money in them to get them to run correctly .
As I said this is my entry level triumph , got it cheap enough if it does not work out I won't loose my pants .
I will post some feed back once I get rid of this white stuff .

I like the integrated leds. Think they could be hooked up as turn signals? I would like to put them on my KLR650.
