i dont think i would go higher than the 350....plenty of for just about everything

 

Seems I need an exhaust shield.

 

Didn't have a lot of time, but couldn't pass up 70° in November so I puttered around this logged off hillside near home.

 

Wr250r love this bike...wish it had a little more power on the road but other than that it's awesome.

 

to bad they didn't have some better plastic coverage around the back of the wr250s, looks like the design team gave up

 

I felt the same initially, i’m not crazy how the whole can is exposed, ripe for damaging

 

I too got out a rode yesterday

 

I guess your can do a wr450f plastic with some work but damnnnn, same for honda

 

My buddy has a husky 701 that thing is a monster.... if we're doing hill climbs he just putts up to it and hits the gas and it rips right up. I always like to take a good run to get my momentum up before I go up. Plus riding around doing about 40-45 he just wheelies away and I can't even come close to keeping up with him. Hes not even hammering just keeping the wheel up. I can only do wheelies in 2nd...occasionally in 3rd if I'm standing and hit a rock.

 

you guys are high. it looks good

they are powerful, i have a 690e. regret not buying it sooner. the exhaust, intake, and power commander should have it sitting around 80hp as of now

My buddy just sold his and bought a African twin and husky 350. I think his 690 was making about 84hp

 

Did this today.......thinking bout doing the bearings while the back is tore apart but kinda iffy on if i should do it or a shop

I love my 2012 klx! very under rated bullet proof bike that i think looks the best

 

The one I'm looking at has the digital camo print and I love it. Only downside is that one of the plastic panels on the tank is cracked from the previous owner's spill, so we're haggling on the price right now.

 

ebay has cheaper panel than oem...especially black

 

I ended up going with an 07 TTR 230 and I llike it a lot, even though it's not street legal. I didn't plan on riding the road, anyway. Pics coming soon.

 

any bike is a good choice really
