True. But at least my older and slower 1st gen technology with rust issues is burlier, more forgiving and wheels better than your newer and faster non rusty truck.

I can only imagine the next round of recalls and lawsuits when someone's foot gets caught under the shorty gas pedal and some genius runs his truck through a wall!

Got mine done. Just drove it on a 1500 mile trip. Didn't notice a difference at all.

 

Any of you guys that drive a manual and had it done,notice a difference?

had mine done about 2 weeks ago....no biggy

 

Had mine done and can't tell the difference. Though I haven't driven it very much it does seem to shift much nicer with the trans flash. No more heavy downshifting and revving up while it trys to get to the correct gears.

 

Here's the thing...the gas pedal, even with the OBX pedal cover on it comes nowhere near being able to be caught on the carpet, the oem all weather's or the weathertech's. The back of the pedal has an angled ridge that touches the carpet when fully depressed. The edges have nothing to get stuck on so fuck all that meaningless bullshit about cuttin the pedal. The clutch pedal comes closer to gettin stuck than either of the other 2 but NO, not trimming my brake/gas override pedal either because even if it gets stuck guess what?....the truck doesn't go. Y'all have fun with that. If I had an automatic then they could pay me to cut it........maybe.

 

I told them no last week and they did everything but cut it: new all weather mats, and new computer software update.

i did mine, i cant notice any difference visual or otherwise. It seems exactly the same to me. I even compared it to my friends '10 not cut and it looks identical

 

not going to get it done, my wife's camry was done when i drive it my foot keeps slipping off the pedal
