Hey man it's cool. I'm not sure if you can tell, but I am by no means pressuring anyone to buy anything here...:) *Shameless Plug* That being said, if this does go over well I will likely carry them in my online store for purchase that should be live hopefully sooner than later. So you might not totally miss out, but I can't get the manu to make anything short of an initial run of 30+. However, I did send an email out asking about the S/C option with no answer yet.

Do any of you guys know if our trucks have an air purge for when we put the hoses on? From what I've seen, to install these you have to:

    1. Remove radiator fluid
    2. Remove old hoses
    3. Install new hoses
    4. Add radiator fluid
    5. ?Purge air out of the system?

The way I was always taught, and the way we did it at the garage I worked at in my teens was to fill up the radiator after the coolant/hose change, all the way to the top. Leave cap off.

Start vehicle, turn heater on full blast. The water pump will start to draw the coolant out of the radiator, keep radiator full by monitoring the level.

Once it seems like the radiator doesn't need to be topped off anymore, either you or a helper start to kick up the rpm's to get the water pump spinning faster. Cap is still off. Now you are going to start getting the air pockets out, and the radiator may need to be topped off further as the air belches out.

Keep the rpm's up, keep monitoring the coolant. After a few minutes of this and you don't need to add coolant anymore, the air should be purged.

Put cap back on tightly, fill reservoir midway between full/add, and you're good to either drive or leave parked.

If you drive and you notice your gauge jump between hot and normal, or you feel your HVAC go cool when you had it on hot, you still have an air pocket.

Repeat above until air is purged. The system is closed, so there is no automatic air purge, you have to do it with the cap off.

Yeah... I am gonna call it dead. I will get in touch with those on my list for a potential solution (not through me) within the next week. Unfortunately it didn't work out. It thought it would for sure, but that's how she goes sometimes.

I may be able to revisit this someday... Based on our previous conversation. Currently though, I just can't make it happen.

I will add you to the list of people I contact when I get something together for those that were interested. I will still try and get people set up who at the very least need new hoses.

For sure, I'd imagine new hoses would be good for me so I'll stay in touch
