Most certainly. When you have professional editing quality, line up frame rates, actual audio (not from GoPro), camera stabilizers to get extra smooth video, etc. It makes the camera look tons better than your average Joe.

Grabbed a quick photo from my niece out playing with water balloons the other day using 30/1 shot

There's no denying editing tools matter. But follow that link I posted and you can find tips for making great video.

I personally think they don't use as automatic a setup as most of us would.

I hope I can get my videos to look even half as good as what yours look like someday.

And sorry if this question has already been asked but whats the advantage of bumping up to 1080 60P? I've just been using mine at the factory settings of 1080 30P. Also what do you use to get your shots so steady in the airplanes?

And here's another video just uploaded. None of these have fancy edits. Just footage from over the weekend at one of the toughest trails in the state.

Just a quick video I made today while riding. I used to run these trails all the time but the are in pretty bad shape now.
I've run many races here but obviously that isn't a priority anymore there.

Some cool GoPro accessories. I saw the "GoSwivel" thing in a MTB video. It's pretty cool perspective.

I'm pretty impressed with the low light abilities with the gopro. It picked up a whole lot more light than was actually there. It was pretty much pitch black where I stopped.

For the price of the sportsman mount i stayed away from it. I can rig up a mount to get the same shot for a lot cheaper. If you don't care to pay for it though, it looks sweet! Can't wait to see some video from it

I'm lazy, and I liked the idea of the new backs with the mount point in the center

Going to Hawaii at the end of the month for my honeymoon. For snorkeling, should I still use a red filter? I picked up a small one in a bundle i purchased awhile ago but it goes inside the housing right over the lens. Debating grabbing one of those cover that go right over the outside for quick and easy removal. Thoughts?
And are any of you guys using the LCD touch screen? It's a nice add on but drains the battery super quick I feel.

I've personally never used a filter on the GoPro. Quite honestly I've never even given it much thought but it might be a option I might want to look at sometime.

I don't use the LCD screen for the reason you describe. Usually the camera is mounted to me or something I'm either riding or driving so I've no use for one. Besides, with the wide angle it's pretty easy to frame a shot. I've never used super wide angle as I figure it would only be good for extreme outside shots that won't distort too much (much like the skiing / snowboarding videos you see).

    Yes

Not exactly sure what the question is though.
