Anybody following the news on the next GoPro? That'd be the Hero4 in Silver and Black. And a low end model called "Hero" that's basically point and shoot-meaning a lot of features you'd see in the "white" model that came from the three won't be there.

Rumor mill says October 8th for the new product announcement.

If the rumors are true, the biggest feature for black will be the 4K video at 30fps. And silver gets a touch screen. I'm not sure how much I believe that given the "high" end has always been feature rich.

Is it enough to make you buy one if you own a 3 or 3+?

GoPro of the Day (Website) announced it had many different features. The 4 had a touchscreen. 4K at 30fps, bluetooth added, as well as different picture and video settings such as color, iso limits, exposure, etc. Also has a setting for "HiLight" for night shooting. Have to see how good they work but looks to have a few new things. If they increase the battery life, i'll probably have to jump on one.

If battery life is at least as long, I'll probably trade my 3+ up for it... Haha

Yeah I could see that. I run mine in 1080p 60fps all the time and the videos turn out great so I'm happy. I'll buy another one in a few years when the video really starts to change a lot. Not worth it to me just one generation newer.

Thats a good point! Now they need to make faster internet because there is no way to play a video at 4K with out waiting a century for it to load

    Lol I think that's a location problem...

But, if you don't have a 4k screen then it doesn't matter anyways.

Not bad but for the lower flight time and for just a hobby, thats still a little too expensive for me. If i used it to make money back on, then i would drop a grand into it easy. They are sweet though and i'd love to have one.
