    Yeah the pics are from old runs lol. I’ve been on sassafrass mtn before but it’s not trails that I’m aware of. Just the paved road to the top for the overlook. They just opened the new lookout spot up there I need to go check out!

    I was at the new lookout last weekend. About a mile south of the overlook on the right is the trail head for sassafrass mt rd. Got the same gate times as HP and Bad Creek.

    I just stumbled on it by accident. Can't believe no ones ever been up there.

    Idk. Noon or 1pm I guess.
    It's either 1 mile north of 11 or 1 mile south of the overlook. Its easy to miss if you arent looking for it.

    Also, the sign says you must have a valid hunting/fishing license. But I think that's just for atv riders on saturday.

    Who knows how far that goes up in there. May be a mile...may be several miles.
    All green gates are closed ofcourse.

    Couldnt see much from the new overlook when i was up last weekend. Drizzling and foggy but it did look pretty awesome.

    The first time since I was way younger.

    I had a Prerunner the first time I met up with you guys at HPR. After that I did a ride at Gulches with @Acerwin and ended up with the 4x4 not long after.
