TRUCK FRIDGE/INDEL-B SPRING 2016 GROUP BUY

Throwing this up for the Indel-B Portable Fridge/Freezer from Truck Fridge. These are the same exact fridges from the Ironman 4x4 (just rebranded here in North America). Low power draw, Danfoss compressors, awesome reliability.
There are a few large threads on Expo and a review on Equipt about the very same fridges.

You can read up on the reviews here:

Everything I've read has been super positive about these. Probably going to sign up later in the month.

I saw this on @DoorDing build page. Maybe he can chime in on his experience with it.

Doesn't look like it unfortunately. I don't think TF will be able to ship outside the lower 48.

Absolutely interested in this. Needing this before May.

FYI, Equipt [sponsor of Expedition Overland] has the 50l for $530, not sure where you got pricing, as I have only seen them at this price.
Truckfridge went way up in price recently form what I have seen in the past.

Here is the link for Equipt as someone asked.

I'm getting pricing directly from Truck Fridge, who is the only North American distributor of these. Even when you buy an Indel-B from Equipt, they are drop shipping from Truck Fridge.

Please note that the group buy pricing at 5 units is still better priced than from Equipt, as there is an additional $45 of freight on top of the price you quoted. The $549 at the lowest tier of the GB is lower than that.

The real cost savings will be if we can reach that 20 units.

CBI plate rear bumper with swingaway, SPC Light Racing UCAs, ARB SS170HF Safari snorkel w/ Afrikaans centrifugal pre-cleaner, Tacoma antenna mod, TRD Supercharger w/ URD 7th inj. & URD pulleys, Anti-Dark engine bay lighting system. Having gone 250k, Aug 2016 was the time to replace the original clutch & get the driver's seat rebuilt/stuffed. Front & back Weathertech liners. Tundra front disc brake swap. Full length Rocky Mountain Rack with 40" lightbar & alternating strobe rear dust lights. I used a warm weekend in March 2022 to finally install my brand new, from old stock, 2000 4Runner driver's seat. $800 directly from the factory in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan.
The more research I do on this fridge/freeze the less I mind dropping this kind of money on something that won't get used that much. It consistently gets better reviews than the ARB.

[Edit] I have found a mounting base plate for this & the smaller 2 models since they have the same footprint. Unfortunately the link goes to a unavailable page on the Equipt website & their other base plates for $75 don't match. I'll keep looking around & report what I can find.

    :annoyed:

OK. Page 13 at this website has all the 2012 stock codes for the accessories I'm interested in including the mounting plate & the cloth cover. There is a sliding base plate available but no price or product #. The only other places I was able to find the base plate were expedition outfitters in Belgium & South Africa.

Could someone check through Truck Fridge for these items, otherwise we'll need someone fluent in Italian. It's after 03:00 here & I have to get up in <6 hrs.

Just a few expensive & DIY things...

Did you happen to reach out to Paul at Equipt1 and see if he'd do a GB? I haven't talked to him in months but I am curious why TruckFridge up'ed the price of their 51, by around $70.
Did they say why the price has increased?

I'm still interested without a doubt, but like you said gotta make it worth while.
Go ahead and put me on the list, and post this over on ExpeditionPortal and ih8mud and such, this fridge has gained a ton of rep to everyone I talk to.

Definitely interested in this. Looks like a decent 12v fridge/freezer at a decent price.

Shipping with fedex and not being able to use a PO box is pretty shitty. I live in Canada and I use a US PO box and drive stuff across the line all the time.

I do have a friend that I could ship this to in the states and then I could grab it off him or get him to bring it up next time he comes up for a visit. Would there be any issues with the billing address not matching the shipping address?

EDIT: Nevermind, just saw that payment is by certified check or money order only. I don't think it would be an issue then?

Had I dug just a little deeper into the truckfridge.com site I would have discovered that they offer an "Optional Mounting bracket available. Part #TB-MB ~ $35.00" However I still can't find prices for the slide mount bracket or the cloth protection jacket (Part# FSP-60051 TB 51) that is offered on the Indel-B website.
