Where are the non local guys staying at the night before?

 

There are plenty of places to stay for cheap in big bear but stay away from the North Big Bear Motel 6. Worst one we have ever stayed at. There's a primitive camp spot a stones throw away from the trail head called Holcomb Valley. Peeps usually camp overnight there.

 

I'm local but camping sounds fun I'm always in for that

No its made out of concrete. It was a bitch trying to pour it. But it came out ok I think.
I wanted to do glass but went with concrete instead.

Sometimes it can be a real pain

 

No it was not to bad but found out my a arms have crack in it

 

Where is the crack?

 

i circled them in red. My buddy can fix them i would just have to take the arm off and remove the bushings.

 

You guys think i can make this with old stock tires??

 

take a picture of the tires for tread life and then ask wyatt he would be able to tell you.

 

That sucks but not hard to do. Just going to weld them up? I have one day [ Saturday] to finish up my truck. 29th is coming fast..

No... 33" tires at the very very minimum with a well equipped/armored rig.

 

No. Not unless you dont mind holding up the trail and being pulled all over the place. It's ugly if your on 33's with the 2nd gens because the wheel base is so long.
