Wait a second..you guys are open/open? I wouldn't recommend anything less then at least a rear locker based on the condition of the trail last time I ran it which was last July or August.

    No, I'm closed/closed, haha. I wouldn't attempt this trail open/open.

I'm open all around. I guess I will sadly withdraw my name from the list. Maybe next time

Unfortunately you wouldn't make it up the first rock before the trail even starts being open/open.

I wouldn't put an open /open truck on John Bull at all. the first rock garden would have you being drug up it and the rest of the trail just gets worst after that.

This is the first rock garden.

As well as this. I'm on 40" tires here locked front and rear and with a crawler box.

You can do it. There are different lines to take. It's just gonna be a long day so plan on it.

Ok we need to get confirmations from people that are maybes. Let's get a head count and meeting time and location.

We can meet at the trail head or closer to town. I'll be staying at a cabin near the airport on the n/e corner of the lake, we can meet in that area as well. I will have "jobrien's" bumper at the cabin, I believe he is coming but not sure if he's a ride along or driving.

Let's be sure that everyone who is going has at least one traction aiding device and plenty of armor. This trail will beat your truck up pretty good if not properly equipped and even still if you are equipped.

I will be with added protection now. Just finished my belly skid. It will have to wait to be painted but no big deal.
