We just bought two perception sport pescador 12 footers. Pricing was reasonable. These are s.o.t. style. They have a great seat from the factory. They cut the water nice on open flat water and we also took them on a mild 7 mile float. Did well on both. They have decent amenities for the price as well.

Bought both from academy. Bought an Olive green on clearance for 336$ (unbelievable deal stumbled upon there), and a red and black one for $550 I think. Both were the angler verrsion and had rod holders installed from the factory. You mentioned racks for the yaks as well. Are you camping in a pop up or the like?

Here's how I pack my yaks when we take the pop up out. (These are my previous boats). These are trac one brand racks with the Tacoma kit so there was no drilling. They go on or off in about 20 min. I don't sport these during the cold months. You can get several different styles of kayak mounts to go on top if you want. I bought 4 cheap J racks off Amazon for mine. It's a pretty versatile system. I'm gonna build some rod holders on the under side of the racks very soon.

Don't have a pop up we sleep in the truck bed since I put a camper on. I'm looking to get some kind of Yakima style racks that I can take off. I'd need to carry a yak and surf board then our bikes on the back

Here's my setup. It's an Old Town Trip 10 that has a few mods. I have 2 rod holders behind the seat, 2 star ports fore, a sonar transducer mounted on inside of the hull just behind the seat. I have an achor trolley system, and some additional tie down points. I gave it a quick camo paint job last fall for duck hunting. It's not a fast rig or very sophisticated, but it has served me well over the years both hunting and fishing.

I'm still a beginner, so my knowledge may be limited. But I'm hoping to get in more experience this year.

I've been using Thule J hooks on my access cab/shell. They work pretty well and if spaced out, I could probably get 4 kayaks on there if needed.

I just got some Thule top deck racks, so the boats will sit flat instead of up on their sides, but I haven't tried them out yet.

My bro has a set of those and they work great. Could probably put a 12 foot fishing boat up there.

I just stack and strap on 66" crossbars. Only works well with sit-on-top style boats. I drove 12 hours with this setup and had no problems.

Amazon's pretty good. That's where I bought mine. Shipping wasn't free but it was like $45 for a 14' oddly shaped 75 lb (with cart & paddles) package.

I would try Austin Canoe and Kayak, (ack.com). I haven't bought a boat online, but real good experince using them for accessories and parts.

We bought both our WS kayaks from these guys. I got the Ride 115, and my wife got the Tarpon 110. Got both with paddle, vest and a few extras for about the price everybody else was charging for just the 'yaks alone. If you can wait, they have a big sale on Labor Day weekend every year to try to clear out the older stock. The website's kind of crappy, but they're good folks to deal with in person.
