    This is probably doing it backwards but do you think if I were to order the rear shocks as they normally come that I could work with Alcan in a custom leaf spring pack that would fit it without needing an extended shock?

    My apologies for the lack of info, I should have been more specific...

    The "Lifted Application" rear King shocks are built to 27.75" extended, and 16" collapsed - BUT, there is an extra fee that they charge for the "custom" built option. So, it's $200 extra to build them that way.

    This option is available to you guys, but there will be the extra charge, and you'll need to specify when ordering if you want that option. Same part #, but with a "L" at the end.

    do the compression adjusters replace the tunability of the coilovers? or can the coilovers be tuned even more so than what the compression adjusters, adjust?

    I don't know the answer but the advertising states 20 zones of precise dampening from very soft to very firm :notsure:

    EDIT: a little google searching I found this reply: "It is a great feature, works fantastic. It is very useful if you have your shock valving relatively close to where it should be. Small changes can be made of with little effort by going up or down on compression or by changing the nitrogen pressure in the shock. There is no change on rebound. It works by changing the bleed orifice size with every turn of the clicker."

    worth it? :notsure:

    I spoke with a tech rep at King this past week about this very thing. I was told that given the shock valved for your vehicle and spring compression set to your desired lift and stiffness, the added compression adjuster set at the zero position would be like having the 119's or 121's set as above without adjusters. Therefore any adjustment 8 positions to the stiffer, 8 positions to the softer, allows fine tuning while still allowing for spring compression adjustments up to the recommended max of 3" of lift. The tech said that at 3" or higher the ride can get rather hard. So there you have it, you know what I know. I will be ordering this option.

    I agree with the others, the rear is where the greater advantage is, but I going for broke and doing all 4 corners.
