I have a couple people pending on ordering and another one or two I need to add to the list. We are damn near to at least 10 for the first 1% level anyway.

GB WILL BE CLOSING ON AUGUST 10!

If you are thinking of getting in do it now so if we get the overall numbers up everyone is benefited!

yea i'll grab a pic and post it later. its really simple though.

the wire from the light is just long enough to make it from the roof into the engine bay. it is also just thick enough to wedge between the A pillar and the windshield. I sprayed windex on it to make it easier to squeeze in the groove, but I haven't had to use any adhesive or anything.

as for mounting it to the roof, i used the trac performance mount. they make a straight bar mount and a curved bar mount. bolts into the oem roof rack holes on double cabs. for regular or access cabs you'd have to drill holes and seal them up with silicone.

Do it up! You have one week... :)

As info for everyone, we now are up north of 10 "orders", or at least 10 bars spoken for to this point if everyone pays up. It might not mean a whole hell of a lot, but we are at 1% off of the GB original price. Let's keep it going. Every spoken for bar gets one step closer tot he next level.

Bump. Get your light bars people! Quit buying from the random people with 50 posts that are selling light bars and then leaving the forum.

The light bars on this GB seem to be much better quality to anything else I've seen around the forum. 20" light bar w/ 16,000 lumens, haven't really seen anything close to that in the same price range. Nice job OP

I'm not messing around! :p Some equipment still being tested right now. Current 3w circuit boards weren't able to produce maximum output from the 5w LEDs... New ones are being made for these bars  Still on track to hold up timelines for the GB.

Colton, how would you compare the quality and output of the 20'' with 16K lumens versus the Rigid E2 20'' with 18K lumens?

Curious if it is worth spending the extra $500 for Rigid purely because it's a Rigid...

    What brand are these?

You won't be disappointed with these. You can afford to do the bar and something else or 2 bars for the cost of the rigid.

I have a hard time comparing the two of them output wise having never been behind a Rigid E2 bar, or this new bar of mine even (in 5w form). That being said I do like how Rigid's Hyperspot pattern projects. Check the video I posted on the first page. That is a video of one of the 30" double rows I have in 3w spot. These bars in this GB should produce approximately 40-50% more than that in the same package.

They have solid aluminum housings, polycarbonate lenses, IP68 dust/waterproof ratings, and I attach deutsche connectors to the bars to protect the wiring and make easy connections to the wiring harness. I guess the Rigids might look just a little bit more refined, their optics may be just a bit better (LED optics suck anyway), the packaging is a little better, and I like the switch that comes with the Rigid bars better than mine. :notsure: Many people change out the switches anymore anyway. Josh (Jlink) and a couple others have my bars and I think they can attest to the quality.

All listed above are things I intend to improve on as time goes on. This brand is my own. The company I am working with across the pond I found by doing a little sleuthing as to the manufacturer of another major lighting name (not Rigid) and have been working with them from there. That's all I've got... Is the Rigid name worth it to you? Maybe, but I can't decide that for you. I am shooting for the best bang for the buck while not sacrificing the quality.

Man...you got me curious now...so if I were to get any moisture or similar type of issue with these bars, there is a 5 year warranty for that?

Is the combo pattern flood on the outsides and spot in the middle? Or how does that work?

If the LEDs go out or the bar takes on water those items will be covered under warranty, 5 yr. Of course if there is damage or tampering to the bar that stuff is not covered. That being said, I don't want to be held to this as it is still a pipedream, but I am planning on offering repair, reseal, etc services for damaged products down the road if everything works out. This will also segway into making custom bars (amber LEDs, custom arrangements, circuit board upgrades, etc), but that is down the road a bit. Those who have already purchased bars previously will certainly be given consideration in regards to pricing.

If nothing else you can think about it this way... Let's say this bar takes a shit on you and I decide I want to completely screw you on the whole warranty piece (which I won't). At this price you could have 5 of these for the price of 1 Rigid E2 @ MSRP. However, the prices on these bars will not remain here. I will have to bump the prices up somewhat after this GB due to the additional cost of 5w LEDs as well as the R&D of constructing new circuit boards. Hopefully not a lot, but some.

Here is an example of how a combo bar will be arranged. Flood on the outside, spot on the inside.

    PM'd... :)

Will you send Paypal invoices after the GB ends and you get the correct pricing set?
