well other than ive started rallying the all my friends her in pocatello. One of my friends has decited he's taking a 94 4runner that needs a motor and is stock. we're putting a 3.4 in it so we have lots of work ahead of us.

 

I feel ya man. always a lot of work. My buddy is coming with his 93 YJ. He used to be a Tacoma guy but his engine water seized.

 

I feel for him i think id rather flinstone my taco than drive a jeep thought.

 

Yeah, but after it was stolen and stripped we built it back up ourselves. took about a year. If I had to drive a Jeep I would drive his. Plus he is a skilled driver so dont have to worry about that.

So. Do we have set dates yet? I would like to reserve a camp ground along white rim and do an over nighter like a few of the guys from the northwest did last year.

I am hoping to reserve it early enough to try to get a group of more than three trucks permitted to camp at a time.

I would be too. I didn't know you could run more than 3 rigs together on it.

Just patiently waiting on details.
From what I've read there is A LOT of work that goes into putting this together legally.
Props to the OP for all the effort to make this happen.

I drove 4800 miles for my last Vacation - I've got no problem doing it again.

Each remote campground does have multiple campsites at it. The one we got, Potato bottom, had three reservable sites. Seems like Murphys Hogback had several as well.

Their rule of three rigs/15 people pertains to a single campsite. You alone wouldn't be able to reserve more than one site but it may be possible for you to reserve one and the someone else, like Mike, reserve another you've then effectively doubled the number of rigs that can travel the trail and camp together.
