That's current bid though. They got another couple days. They most likely won't be worth it, compared to scouting Facebook/CL for stock takeoffs as they come up. They go pretty cheap and you don't have to figure out AZ -> purchase.

Hell I might have 2-4 coming up soon. Need to decide if I'm going to try to find 17 sport takeoffs or keep up the 16 OR takeoffs.

I saw those and then ended up going for $177 which is still a good deal. Only problem is I don't need them since my FJ wheels are still doing great but thanks for the heads up...!

Anyone have a lead on a 3rd gen Tacoma driver's front door glass in RI/MA area? My truck was broken into and looking to replace the glass ASAP.

Insurance would cost more than me replacing it myself so I'm paying out of pocket.

Order it online from the dealership. You'll get a discount. And with this being large and glass, they should let you pick it up at the dealership.

Edit: Seems Toyota changed something after 2018, so make sure your glass isn't for a 2019+

 

Thanks! Ended up finding one at a scrapyard in Worcester for 1/3 of the price new, just needed to be cleaned up.

Any scrap yard around me generally doesn't have anything less than 10 years old.

 

Linders Inc in Worcester MA. Apparently they only buy totaled cars less than 10 years old to sell parts. They also own a junk yard across the street for cars older than 10.

 

If you order from Boch make sure you check to verify that you can pick it up in the store. I seem to recall that they did away with that feature with online ordering. Also, verify that they actually have the part in stock. The last couple times I have ordered from them they have charged my card, never shipped the part, then refunded me after a month or 6 weeks since they never got the part in. Another time they let me order brake lines then told me via email that they canceled the order since they would not ship them.

 

I miss the ability to pick up everything at the dealership. They said they'll still do it, but only for large items such as wheels. I would think picking up window glass is an option too. I've never had an issue ordering from them.

 

Yeah, I didn't have the option to pick up at the dealer when I tried to check out the glass which is why I opted for a used one and shipping was going to be nuts.

 

It makes zero sense for you but Sullivan in Kingston, MA does this now and doesn't charge the $7.95 pickup fee Boch charged. It does charge sales tax which for you wasn't an issue living in RI. Like Boch, Sullivan charges under MSRP for parts. Copeland, my local dealer in Brockton charges 50% over MSRP for items over the counter. It's wild.

 

Kingston is about an hour from me. That's not too long of a drive for me, especially if I'm saving a lot on shipping cost. Some dealerships are crazy. When I still had my Tacoma, I was looking for the sport headlamps. I forget which dealership I stopped at, but they gave me a printout saying it would be $1400 for the pair! I think that was double MSRP then. That was before I learned about the online discounts.

 

Shoot, if you went that route I could pick up for you..

 

If you want, Toyota of Smithfield does online parts ordering, and you can do local pick up (any size item/part, from one bolt to a bumper). They don't charge a pick up fee, just sales tax, which sucks, but is unavoidable. Their prices do have a discount under MSRP, just not as great as Boch South.
