You gotta love for sale adds where the seller can’t take 5 minutes to take a new photo of each side of the truck. It seems like it’s just random photos they found on their phone. Also can’t list what dash lights are on. What else is wrong with it? A rod sticking out of the engine block?:D

If you're not hard up for the cash or space, why not keep them?

The only reason I suggest this is the OEM LEDs aren't user serviceable, so if you lose a headlight you're on the hook for a new unit or sourcing a decent used one, so you'll be without headlight(s) until you find a new pair. Having the originals laying around means you could be up and running in an evening if need be.

That's at least the logic on my side of this equation when I got OEM LEDs. That being said, while I think your price is dead on, the forums aren't the places to sell stock parts. I've sold parts you cannot give away on this forum on CL / FB Marketplace / Ebay for a decent amount of money. I got $100 for my spare on CL when people give them away here.

All great points, however, my patience wouldn’t allow for installing the non-led while I wait for a new LED then install the new LED :annoyed: I’d probably drive around with a light out until the new one came in.

I have them up in facepages. Should probably do uncle henrys and CL too.

When I upgraded to the OEM LEDs, it wasn't only for the better light output, but also that I'll hopefully never need to replace any bulbs in the freezing cold weather again. I don't know how the Tacoma is, but swapping a headlight on the 4Runner requires pulling off the whole bumper.

You don't have to pull the full bumper off. If memory serves I pulled the grille, popped the lower front flare clips and popped the corner of the bumpers. It took me just over an hour and a half going super slow. My hope is that they last the life of the truck, but I also plan on another 9-10 years of ownership, so that's asking a lot of anything.

I've been hanging onto all of my stock parts for whatever reason. I still regret selling my stock suspension. Not that I ever plan on throwing it back on, but I wish I had it. It's my hoarder tendencies.

My wifes old outback (13’) required removing the tire, the wheel well, reaching through and unscrewing a cover. Stealership charged $79 to do it and after the first two I happily paid it. The part that screwed on never went back on right.

I am doing the exact same thing. Main reason to holding onto my OEM suspension is for when the Kings need to be rebuilt, I would swap them back over until they get finished.

Bumper gets dropped for replacing the headlight housing but the bulbs take a few minutes without taking anything off luckily

The high and low beam bulbs are easy to swap out. The other bulbs require undoing some of the fender liner and reaching up from underneath.
