how muddy is hollister hills (green trails/easy)

 

^depends on how recently it rained... considering its been in the 70s for a couple weeks now... not very muddy. green trails are essentially fire road.

 

im gonna try and make it, weather permitting

 

For those of you that haven't been to Hollister check out this thread. We went yesterday and had a blast! It was a lot better then i thought it was going to be. There is something for everyone there well not the mall crawlers but if you like dirt as most of us do you got to check it out in March.

There were 2 prerunners that went out with us that did fine. There are bypasses around most of the trails if somewhere is too difficult you can take a side route.

Would a stock sport dc taco be ok at hollister?

 

You'll be fine. Like 1337Taco said, there are bypasses around the super hard trails.

 

Oh ok, cause I've been watching some clips and everybody seems to have lifts and big a/t tires and my truck is bone stock...

 

Blackhawke went up there a while back with one of his buddies, and he was bone stock. And the other guy Ken has his prerunner all modded out.

Lol I thought that picture would cause panic like 1337Taco said there is a by pass for everything we had a stock 4x4 on the trails with us and he did fine yeah there is some spots on the trails where a lift would help out but a stock truck will do just fine as long as you know how to drive.

 

Man that's cheap! I might have to grab one of those.
