Official Northeast Sledchat Thread

Didn't see anything and I know there are some snowmobile riders here. Thought we could start a thread to chat about all things sledding in the Northeast! I ride a lot, last year just over 3000 miles. Maybe even get a group ride plan together? I am active in a few clubs up here and have 30 years of experience all over NH, ME and VT.

Because invariably people are going to ask, I have owned everything, but now own a Yamaha and 2 Arctic cats. A 2015 XF6000:

Awesome! I'll be heading to the Grass Drags later this month, can't wait.
I've ridden VT, NH, Maine and all over Canada on saddlebag trips.
My crew rents a fantastic place outside of Island Pond.
Have friend's down by Stratton Mtn now so this year I'm going to try & not leave my sled up there full time.
Average around 2500 miles a year as well & would be up for a group ride.
My sled is a 2014 SkiDoo MXZ 600 X, but not brand loyal either.

This just came today, already got the 4 inch riser on, just need to tune the shocks

 

Oh, very nice! Question about those Axis sleds, do they have any on board storage on them? Or even an aftermarket option? I have a tunnel bag on my sled and couldn't live without it.

 

Sorry for the late response but the aftermarket options from polaris and other dealers for storage options is pretty big for a sled only two years old

 

Anyone been riding yet? Big snow is coming this weekend!!
