Alright guys! last week was pretty much a disaster! Woo!

    lets turn it around!

SO Krookz won it, he choose "non-natural occurring macro"
for those of you who are wondering that would be Macro photographi that has nothing to do with nature, (no flowers bugs etc), so man made subjects.
    *no food
    *basically nothing natural

    MACRO PHOTOGRAPHY:
    According to wikipedia,
    According to photo.net,
just so their is no confusion. that is the subject the deadline is Friday the 11th. happy shooting!

Anything picture that is a close of an object. It can't be natural like a tree, flower, water, etc. but it can be non-natural like a computer, phone, chair, cd, keys, etc.

    RULES:
    1. All photo's need to be from a specified time period set in the call out. See below

    2. All photos need to have EXIF data info to verify date of shot.

These are the rules to the photo of the week correct?

Im curious though, still a newbie to this, I'd like to start submitting pictures so I can get practice with shooting specific things...but what all do I need to send with the picture to meet qualifications?

(posted here in case it isn't seen in the other thread)

Yeah thats pretty much the only rules. This really isn't anything fancy and competitive. It was made to be fun and give the members a reason to go out and shoot since most of us lack that motive.

So yeah basically, once the next "theme" is chosen, go out after that and take a picture that represents that "theme". Those rules are set because we are trying to get you to get out shoot a new picture instead of using an old photo you might have taken a year ago.

Once you have the picture you like PM a link of your picture to Panda Jerk.

Other than that just have fun with it.

If you have to ask, I wouldn't worry to much. It's actually Exchangeable image file format(EXIF). Yeah, it doesn't match up the way you might think but thats what it stands for. Its basically every time you take a picture your camera embeds the image with a bunch of information. It does include what you said, plus a lot more like the camera model, time and date, focal length, etc..

So, you don't have to do anything, your camera does all the work.

Basically all you have to do is take a picture of the "theme" after it has been chosen then send a link/file to Panda Jerk and you are done.

Install an EXIF reader in your browser. If you're a firefox user, then Fxif is the way to go.

    http://christian-eyrich.de/mozilla/fxif/

Install it, then right click on the image to get the image info from the menu. Of course, if the poster removed it from the image, there's nothing there.
