I sure hope so. I'm selling my camera because I transitioned to a full frame platform. I'm still hesitant to let it go because of how great of a camera it is, but realistically, there is no reason for me to have two cameras. I had no prior photography background and everything I learned was from this camera.

Just the 300 non(s). Last count was 32k

Hopefully you'll strike luck again. I remember when all I could think about was the D200. I took so long to pull the trigger on it that the D300 eventually came out and ended up going with that instead.

A picture with a lesson behind it... So here is a picture of my wife crying, the reason you ask? Well you see we just took the gondola up to the top of the mtns to take sunset pictures over Telluride and she was setting up her camera and tripod when a gust of wind knocked over her camera and it SMASHED into the rocks!!! Well thank God we always keep our lens hood on, it saved the lens and took the blow! No damage at all!!! other then the shattered lens hood. So I picked up the camera as she started crying and took a few test shots to make sure it was ok and this is one of the shots I got. ALWAYS KEEP YOUR LENS HOOD ON!

Looks like she kept her composure pretty well after such a traumatic event. I would've been flipping the fuck out!

shit iv done worse, Had my D300s on a tripod, with my 17-55 f2.8 and was carrying into the house and there was snow on the ground. slipped and fell and lens first into the side of my house. Ended up bending the Barrel on the lens and had to have it replaced along with some other parts.

Yeah, I think she was more worried about me freaking out and throwing the thing all the way down the mtn! LOL I guess my anger mgmt training is working, cause I didn't freak out at all, I just picked it up and just made sure it was okay, which it was, so no big deal.

i have a shoot in Lucerne Valley on Wednesday inside an old gold mine shaft... my intern can't make it, so if anyone here wants to assist, PM me...

no pay, it's an editorial shoot for credits only for an online mag/e zine, so this would only benefit someone who wants their name in the photo credits, etc...
