    It's called "Instagram" :(

How about Kodak? Going under right now - they thought this whole digital thing would come and go.

i still see kodiak film being sold in stores along with their single use throw away cameras. that would be cool if Polaroid came back!

heres a question, if film suddenly came back into style, would you sell your digital equipment and buy film equipment, including print machines, chemicals and build the ultimate dark room?

Hell no. you can't spray and pray with film nearly as well as digital. If i don't like the pic, i just delete it. It didn't cost me anything.

I agree about not liking the pic, but thats also the fun with film you don't know how it went till final development!

how about if i reword my statement, if film photography became popular again, would you shoot with both or even if you were/are a professional photographer would you use a digital camera for your professional shoots and a film camera for just fun shooting?

I would stick with digital, but that is pretty much because i'm a hobbyist. I don't need to spend all the extra money for the film and everything else. I would much rather put the pics on computer and then print off a few that i like.

I love film. I love developing, and printing in the darkroom. The detail in an 8x10 is unbeatable. Even on 2 1/4 film (120) is awesome. If I was a pro and film came back, I would shoot both.

If film does come back, I would not recommend using 35mm for professional work. Hobby work/just for fun work is fun with 35mm, but the quality isn't TW same as a 2 1/4 (120) film, and an 8x10 blows both out of the water. And I work with all three on a daily basis as I am in a film photography class

I loved shooting with my 6x6 medium format camera! the detail was so sharp!!

are full frame cameras and crop sensor cameras both 35mm (so to speak) cause i remember a teacher i had my sophomore year of high school saying that it'll be many many years before a medium format digital camera would come out.

Full frame are the same size as a 35mm film picture, or frame if you want to call it that. Crop sensors are usually smaller by a 1.6x ratio, but in some cases, they are 1.3 but those are usually the pro cameras, ex the Canon 1D mk 4 I think, the one that has 10fps and came out before the 1D X

With the money i have invested in digital (over half the amount of my truck), HELL NO.

AND i already shoot a Full Frame camera. Theres no need for me to switch over to 35mm film.

But digital medium format, thats a different story, you havent shot a real camera until youve used a Hasselblad H4D-60
