Is the consensus that the prices shown in this thread are WITHOUT destination charges? Meaning that actual MSRP+Destination will be ~$1500 more?

That would make the base TRD OR DC AT ~$44K. That same truck was $39800 in 2023. I purchase mine (MSRP+Destination = $40600 with LED package and all weather flaps) for $36,600 after a $4000 dealer discount. Assuming no dealer discounts on 2024s for a while, that would be a 22% premium for the new model trimmed the same as a 2023. Even without discounting on the '23, it's still over 10%.

Hopefully it is still there, especially considering the price.

It is not there. If you look at Doug Demuro he has a video of a TRD Off Road. If you notice the the brake booster is the normal one under the hood and the the bigger unit for ATRAC, Crawl control, etc. Also I did not see a button in his video to engage ATRAC.

Seems like Toyota cheaped out on the 'Off Road' version?

“Tacomas with rear-wheel drive feature an automatic limited-slip differential (Auto LSD), and four-wheel-drive models have an electronically controlled two-speed transfer case with high/low range along with Active Traction Control (A-TRAC) and an automatic limited-slip differential (Auto LSD).”

Yes, of course but price of the truck itself is what I'm talking about. Not destination, etc. While you can't buy the truck without it, that's not how much the truck costs and that's now likely not included in these prices.

Yes, of course but like I mentioned earlier, that's not the price of the truck. They're options and add ons that are on top. I'm sure these prices are before add ons, package options, and destination. That's all.

That $54k limited will likely be $56k with steps, a bed cover, and destination. Don't even get me started with mark ups.

If Toyota kept pace with Canadian inflation, the 2023 model would've cost $56.2: https://www.bankofcanada.ca/rates/related/inflation-calculator/

    It’s tough
It’s tough to justify unless you absolutely need a new vehicle. Loaded full size are all well over $70k. Now the mid level Tacoma with premium package will be over $50k OTD. Thanks goodness my 2010 is in great shape and I still love driving it.

Wonder if the Limited will still get a 2 speed transfer case with it being full time 4WD.
