Since a loaded Truck is easily higher tha $57,000, buyers pay 10% pst now. That's total 15% tax ....Tacoma is in luxury vehicle tange now.

Canuckistan pesos. And yes the dealer fees are high, but all dealers in a region typically charge similar fees (because they're paying into an advertising pool, etc.). Last Toyota I purchased in 2019, dealer fees were $940.

So then just go to the model page for what you want to build and do it from there.

The 24 Tacoma does not show up with a build option.

An f-150 XL hardly has “all the driver tech features.” But yeah you can buy a truck without even carpet for $44k, just like you can buy an SR tacoma for ~35k. But it will have interior storage instead of a locker, I guess. Just not quite the fair comparison.

4x4, V8 400HP, FX offroad pack, rear locker, 10 speed auto, standard interior, and...all the driver tech features. $44,780.

Frontier fully loaded with more HP then the new Tacoma is also $10k cheaper too.

We have a Frontier at the shop and its a nice little truck. We have the SV but next time would opt for the Pro4X. Its a smooth V6 - much better than the outgoing Tacoma.

Sweet. If that's MSRP including delivery, that's just $1000 more than my SR5 DC 5' 4WD allocation, which is base + heated seats, mudflaps, door edge guards, floor liners.

Frontier Pro 4X are discounted quite nicely indeed. Found one in Texas (2023) MSRP of $48,595 marked to $41,778. Then more and more ZR2 are popping up below MSRP. I feel another 2 months for those to build up in inventory and we will see larger discounts.

It advertised $1K under MSRP but after all the other fees, we were just over $44k.

I (hopefully) have a few years before I need a vehicle, but I'm already leaning towards a Pro4X, gonna do alot of researching before the time comes tho.

The base price means nothing when they add thousands in options that you have no choice on.

Toyota is definitely going to lose some customers to GM…. This is listed on cars.com and is supposed to compete with the TRD Pro. And lord knows how much that’s going to be. Not sure what options this ZR2 has but still…

A little bit misleading. They advertise the GM employee discount pricing. That’s actually ~$49k on their site if you don’t qualify
