They did their marketing event in Hawaii and posted a few tidbits on Toyota.com. I don’t think we’ll get full trims, specs and prices until August.

I still think that event was rushed, that would explain why they didnt have an SR5 or an OR to display.

I'm sure shipping the trucks from Mexico to Hawaii wasn't fun.

Obviously board likes my price quotes versus bogus other "higher price tags". Anyone can throw bull chips against wall but it won't stick if over inflated. My numbers are pretty solid and I might even drop TRD Sport price down to $37,000 or even PreRunner level. Yea the Limited, TRD Pro and Trail Hunter are going to be expensive, but Toyota still has to be competitive with competition. SR, SR5, TRD Pre Runner, TRD Sport all priced under $38,000.

Are you thinking that they are going to be removing a bunch of standard equipment on the next Sport? The current least expensive double cab Sport is a 4x2 short bed at $36,415 + $1335 destination for a total of $37,750. I would expect the Sport to be priced about equal to the Off Road as it's always been.

    You seem concerned about everything.

Until the trucks actually ship, and specifications and prices are readily available, this forum is just light entertainment. Enjoy the show.

Limited is going to be right around $60K. GMC Canyon Denali gets up to $58k. Limited has all time 4wd and Hybrid standard.

The main issue with any advertised pricing for the 2024 Tacomas is that the trucks will absolutely not sell close to MSRP what so ever.

Unless you build one and specifically wait for 1 year, you are gonna see these things with useless “tech packages” and “dealer packages” marking them up 5-15k over msrp.

Not trying to get political, but dealershps shouldn’t exist, but for some reason America thinks it’s okay to allow the lobbyists to outlaw direct to consumer car purchasing.

home of the free am I right?

They will be marked up, but consider the resal value. You can always purchase a Tesla, if direct to consumer sales is that important. You also have the choice to purchase any make of vehicle you like, if Toyota's process is not to you to your liking. I have no real expectations on purchasing one of these trucks, they will be unobtainable.

Missing my point completely. It’s not just a Toyota problem. Every car company is doing this with new vehicles. End result is consumers paying hire prices. Unfortunate, but that’s how it’s going to be forever unless something changes.

MSRP/Resale value means nothing these days.

No, it's not only Toyota. I had a Ford dealer tell me they wouldn't sell a vehicle out of area, they probably would today. Some of those Toyota dealers might sell a vehicle out of area today, that would not a year or two ago, probably not a 4R tho. You can always order a Ford, unless it's a Super Cab F-150 Lariat. When battery, and self driving R&D is rolled into the price of every vehicle expect to pay more. The price of goods are going to drastically increase, when clean rail technology is mandated. The MSRP of a 4th gen will probably have increased $20k from 2024, and the last year Toyota builds it.

Dude - you're so far off base you can't find the baseball stadium. 5 - 15K over MSRP? - What U Smoking???

    1. You ever hear of competition?
    2. You ever hear about shopping around (checking dealers within 100 miles of your home)?
    3. You ever hear of horse trading?
    4. You ever hear how cars sell in a "recession"?
    5. You ever hear about 2023 Tacoma prices?
    6. You ever hear what 2024 Toyota said base model will cost? $30,000

Typical Tacoma Price Pumper that throws garbage out first and then watches it not stick to wall.

When I bought my Scion FRS they had no haggle pricing so whatever the price was on the website is the price you paid. No markups. I got the dealer, had my check ready when the car came in from Japan and boom...done.
