I do feel as though there is the potential that trim could be close to that shown price.

Leaf springs, simple two door cab, no rear seats/seat belts, lower output engine.

Yeah Probably, but keep in mind the only reason they told us about the new Land Cruiser pricing is they have repositioned it from a very high end vehicle starting in the upper 80’s into a mid level rig starting in the 50s. It’s a totally different truck now, competing in a lower level segment. Taco is still a taco and will be very likely be priced just slightly higher than the 3rd gen. Yeah all the higher trims are going to command a premium though.

That gas mileage kinda blows :/ I was expecting(hoping) for better. It looks grossly unchanged from current. Maybe 1mpg better. Disappointing.

It also doesn’t make sense the off-road matches Sport on mpg. The Sport with more aero and more efficient tires should squeak out at least 1more mpg on average.

Yeah, that's just slightly better than my '23 Tundra. I'm averaging 18mpg (very light foot). I paid more, but we have a newborn and that makes a world of difference getting him in/out of the back seat.

I'm also surprised by how much they went up in pricing. Looks like the OffRoad went up close to $5k? Or did I math wrong?

There is no longer a Access Cab Off Road, so to compare apples to apples the 2023 DC automatic is $41,250 with destination, a 2024 is $42,900 ($1,650 increase). I assume above prices include D&D.

Combine the scoop with the new air dam and we've got a sports car contender here.

SR Double Cab 4x4 MT @ $36900 looks to be the only good deal. And that's what a 3g TRDOR cost MSRP about a year ago. Oh well.

Don't know what you were expecting. The Colorado gets 19/21 and that's a large aggressive styled box with a 4cyl turbo. Think we've reached the efficiency limit for ICEs in trucks. 24 highway seems pretty good to me compared to everything else on the market.

Now, $42k MSRP for the TRDOR is another story. Add a few addons, D&D, and then whatever bollocks the dealership tries to add on and you're looking at close to $50k OTD. I'd say it's crazy, but it actually just sucks that that's what these are going to cost. Def out of reach for the average driver without going into stupid debt.

IIRC you used to be able to configure a base TRDOT M/T for like $36k MSRP. So yes.

The non-hybrid Limited is almost $54k and the hybrid version will probably be $4k more which puts an I-force Max limited around $58k, and since all TRD Pro and Trailhunters are hybrid (I-force Max) I’d say the TRD Pro will about $67k and Trailhunter at $70k.
