Official RANT thread

Ok, this is an official RANT page and I want to RANT at drivers. I'M pissed off,. Why is it that F*@K$N people have to be Rubber neckers. . I'm coming home the other day and there is an accedent on the frontage road, Not the Highway that I'm on, THE Fricken frontage road, and traffic is backed up for over an hour, at least 7 miles long for WHAT,? Nothing to see but F*@K$D up cars. It didn't happen on the highway and It's ridiculous. People are very morbid, I just don't understand why it has to be this way. Go home and watch faces of death or a gorey movie but don't hold up traffic. I'm was an hour late and Pissed off.

 

Oh he mad, but has a right to be. I came across an accident the other day. van was flipped over with a guy hanging out the sliding door that shit was backed up for dayyysssss. Dont think the driver made it unfortunately.

Rubber neckers though, worst thing on the freeway.

Slept all day today to work overnight tonight. Got to work, told me they cut the overnight crews hours because there was no distribution center truck to pack out...so I had no one to watch.
Came home now have to work at 5am tomorrow...WTF no one told me!

 

just got laid off.

school is about to start and i got no money for books, also there are people grilling all around me, went look in to my refrigerator all i have is tofu, FML!!!!!!!

 

here is my past few weeks in a nutshell...
Got dropped from marine ocs because i tore my tendon. got broke up with by the girlfriend of nearly a year because i dont pay enough attention to her even though i am 450 miles away and talk to her on the phone and skype for 3-4 hours a day. havent been paid for ocs and had to dig into my savings to pay bills. managed to break a whuppin stick and a shimano reel in the same day. got voted off my buddies ranger boat because i dont fish with expensive shit and he kept the two that do. the dog is sick as can be.

hopefully everything will improve when i leave Northern VA on wed and get back to the country where i can actually shoot my guns without gettin the cops called on me

So my buddy's wife keeps insisting that her best friend date me, her husbands best friend. In her mind, her best friend would be perfect with her husband's best friend, and her best friend is GORGEOUS.

I am totally down with this idea, but too bad her best friend only sees me as a brother. My buddy's wife would always try and set up a "double date", me and her best friend with them, the married couple, and each time her best friend gives me "I can only see you as a brother" argument.

 

UPDATE ON LAY OFF

So as I said earlier I was laid off from my job Friday and will continue to work until Sept. 2nd. Kind of saw it coming and not to bothered by it. Im 20 years old and working in an office doing mail, not exciting.


So I've been networking myself and I have 3 job opportunities.

1) Go back to work at my local Ace Hardware where I worked for a year and a half and got along with all managers and employees and my good friends work there.

Pro: Friends, hours are ok, get along with management, know everything about the store.

Cons: Starting all over again to get the respect I worked for for over a year, hours arent full time yet, love the place but hate it at the same time. Minimum wage.

2) Work for my friends uncle as a flower delivery guy which could be cool or suck.

Pros: Drive around all day and relax, something different from previous jobs.

Cons: Not full time, not guaranteed work everyday.

3) Work for my other friends dad at his work as a full time warehouse guy( some elctrical company). Not sure of the details but its full time and then some.

Pros: Different type of job, full time, learn about electrical work.

Cons: dont know any details about the job, his dad scares the shit outta me, 50+ years old and still is cut and has an 8 pack and would give Kimblo Slice a run for his money.


The job I was laid off from paid $15.30/hr at part time. Now I'll be down to $8.75 or what ever minimum is at Ace for part time. Or a little bit above minimum at the flower place at part time but not guaranteed work everyday. Or work full time and minimum "I think" at my friends dads work. It'll be tough trying to make the same amount of money as my office job and I'll be working a lot more.

Comes down to time, or if I want a lot of hours, or working at a place where I have friends. I just dont know what I want ahhh!!!!!

Agreed. Unfortunately the office job was talking A LOT. I'll miss it lol. And had paid time off accrued each 2 weeks. and a 401k and benefits.

Just a little rant. Senior Year of HS starts tomorrow. -.- i've been working my ass off all summer at my job (biscuit maker) to buy just about everything and more for my Taco. now im back to working just Sat.~65$. Barely enough to fill the truck up ._. i hate HS so much. Im ready to GTFO of there. One Positive though: Girls That is all

 

Sr. year live it up. After that life goes down hill..... jk....i guess
