Bellow is their reply to the question I asked about the base system. Also, if you want to change your system to the chrome one please email them and let them know.

"No, we are not offering the base QuickLIFT system. The base QuickLIFT is actually being phased out and we will only be selling the PLUS and ELITE series. However, we also have the option of our QuickLIFT SHOW series - not shown on our site. This is the same price as our ELITE series, but the gas springs are a glossy polished chrome - not stainless as in the ELITE, but Chrome. It polishes up better than stainless and has a mirror finish, those who want the system for show will probably want this - best Chrome gas spring on the market, part of our Autostruts branded gas springs. If anyone is interested, we can put this selection on the list
- if people have purchased and want polished chrome instead of stainless steel in ELITE series, they can email us for the correction. Everything else in the system is the same, just the gas springs will be swapped out for our Autostruts chrome..."

 

Just found out the group buy will be available for over 3 weeks! Not sure exact date yet, but will let you know as soon as I find out.

Just ordered the EZ Down for $55.76 shipped i've had the hood struts for about a year and they work great so i figured i give the EZ Down a shot!

We all will get the same thing, but please read the note a couple posts up - from RedLine. The tracking info does not show the item has been accepted at a shipping point, or is in transit to your location. Don't believe everything you get in an email. They have to have a minimum amount of orders before they will start shipping. Or, you can believe what you want.

I emailed them this morning about getting my order shipped without having to wait on 30 others and this is what I got.......

"Most of all orders placed are shipping today... check your tracking number at the end of the day. Otherwise, every order placed by Sunday night will go out Monday."

 

Ok then since they are shipping lets go guys! Place orders!

 

That would be a pleasant change of their group buy policy. If they are not waiting for a minimum of orders to ship then we should have our orders later next week.
