    they pinch pretty tight, plus there is a hole that if you want to you can drill a self tapping bolt into the frame to hold them still...

    the plates and gussets are 1/4" thick... i leave the plates and gussets off for shipping and plus most people mount their sliders at different heights so this will keep the plates from hanging below the frame...

    Got it. I'll just figure for a little extra clamping / welding time. Are the mount tubes already at the correct length?

    I'm going to wait until I get paid at the end of the month and purchase with "discretionary cash" LOL

    I think I can weld on a Friday, Powder Coat the next Monday, and weld them to the frame the following weekend and touch it up. Should be pretty easy....

    Thanks for straightening me out!

    I might skip out on Uwharrie because of my penny pinching, but man I WILL have these sliders, LOL

    How will P/C work with welding?? And have you thought about rattle can paint-easier to repair than PC when you do hit it off a rock...

    noooo.....you need to come to uwharrie man!!!!!

    here is the mounts for my revenge-fabs...........welded to the frame with plates and gussets!!

    no cutting or anything.........just put in place...tack them up, hard weld them in. took me a grand total of 2 hours to get my frame prepped/decide where to mount them, and weld them in. and that was an hour one day/an hour the next!
