You shouldnt cut the boots. My bulbs come apart to insert the boot in the middle. I'll make a video and upload it to YouTube. I don't have a boot on hand but I'll explain the concept.

Sorry it took a while to get the video up. Now that I know how to do YouTube and upload videos through my phone it is super simple! I am going to create a few videos for YouTube. Also, if anybody else makes any videos and would like to donate them to my YouTube account for other people to use please let me know. :)

I've got to be the dumbest person on this forum! Attempted to install my HIDs today, and in short, I sliced my finger, and ruined a bulb I think by getting stuff on it.

I stopped, put old light back in. Put the HIDs in the box! So, anyone looking to buy a set of HIDs for a good price! One bulb may work, may not, the other is fine as it never left the box.

Guess plug n play isn't good enough for me even

Do you unlock the bulb once the bulb is locked in with that little metal hook, then put the rubber on and then place it back through and lock?

    Did that make sense?

Another dumb question, both lights are interchangeable in terms of being able to go in either the left or right side? My buddy said something to mess with me and now I'm double checking.

Does anyone know if you are doing the fog install, do you need to undo the battery like when doing the headlights?

For the fogs you don't need to disconnect the battery. Just have the truck and lights off.
