Are both bulbs wiggling bad? I haven't received any feedback from customers experiencing this problem before. Maybe check that the bulbs are fully seated in the housings and secure?

I just had one bulb go out on one of Slim's sets. I've had mine for well over a year maybe two can't remember, been a long time though. I just ordered a set with the last group buy and got them today. Slim is good about shipping parts for you and great with customer service. I won't buy from anyone but him.

I looked it up. I bought my set from Slim on the 10-31-08 group buy. So mine lasted almost 3 years. :) Thanks Slim!!! Been well pleased with them.

The next group buy will be in November. If you don't want to wait until then for the month of October I am offering free shipping at www.slimshidxenonsource.com with coupon code "FREESHIP". That coupon expires 10/31/11.

I can't find the article on here but there is a PDF that shows how to adjust the headlights. It sounds like you might not be turning the right adjusters. They actually are adjusted using a Phillips head screwdriver.

Nice writeup but I suggest anyone wanting HID's go with a projector retrofit. Not too much more expensive and you don't get that horrible glare

Not possible with the way the bulb locks into place. It can only be inserted and seated properly in one direction. If he has a lift he might just need to realign the headlights.

I just installed hid kits in both my fogs and healights, all went well, no problems, although on the road the light doesnt seem much brighter than my halogens if any at all! I ordered 35w 4500k. The light on the ground as well as reflecting off of white signs looks fairly blue and dim. Not 10,000k blue, but not white like 4500k. The 4500k fog lights almost seem brighter. In comparison pointed out over a field, the fogs look whiter and a nice even light up pattern, and the low beams are kind of a blotchy dimmer blue patter. The high beams are better though, but still kinda dim? Any suggestions?.....

Anyone have a pic of one of these kits installed from the front of the truck? Curious to see how they visually look looking at the truck head on or from 3/4 front shot.

Sorry man not really. I haven't heard of this problem with my kits. I don't want to say that it could just be there kit but you might want to ask them if they can replace the bulbs to see if it fixes the problem. That would be my first step.
