Was thrilled to see Asoka in live action finally however, hearing Asoka I was kinda sad. Watching a character for the past 8 years and having a voice that is her only to be introduced to a new voice kinda killed the flow of the show for me. Don’t get me wrong she did a great job and I hope she’s in future episodes but it just wasn’t the same.

 

My son & I watched it last night. Awesome show!!!

We know that Luke and Leia are both alive during this time.

I would assume Ezra is as well if Ahsoka is looking for Thrawn.

We didn’t explicitly see Mace Windu die, he just fell. And we all know Force users have a history of not dying from falling.

Cal Kestis is also alive during this time.

 

TBO I haven't watched the cartoon series on Disney+ so I'm not as up to speed on all of these characters.

Have you watched The Clone Wars animated movie and series?

Watch the movie and then the series. That takes place between Attack of the Clones and until just after Order 66.

Star Wars Rebels takes place about 5ish years before Rogue One and A New Hope.

 

The Mandalorian takes place after "Return of the Jedi" and before "The Force Awakens" correct?

I'm totally a Star Wars fan but admittedly not die hard enough.

 

Yes, about 5 years after the Return of the Jedi. The Force Awakens is about 30 years after ROTJ.

I'm assuming that Luke may be involved to some degree with training Grogu or maybe Yoda may show up.

I agree the that whole Thrawn piece may tie back to Ahsoka looking for Ezra, but not sure how that would fit in to the series.

I do hope that they give Ahsoka some more screen time and that Bo-Katan keeps coming back and ties in to finding Boba Fett at some point.

 

Remember that Rebels ends around the same time as the Battle of Endor, so it spans the orioginal trilogy timeline.

 

Yea, it does end then with Hera going over what the crew are doing but Ezra and Thrawn disappear before the original trilogy.

 

Yes, forgot the Hera moves the timeline forward using a narrative.

 

Yoda would have to show up as a force ghost though, he passed over in Return of the Jedi so in the Mandalorian timeline he’s already gone.

 

I agree, but maybe that's how they do it to learn more about their species. Either way the show is awesome and they've done a great job with it so far.
