Official Spoilers for Star Wars Movies/TV Shows in General

I need to go back and watch Rebels again before this airs. These flashbacks are going to be DOPE!!

 

Turns out that several insiders said "those aren't our cameras, and we're 99% sure what you're seeing is a fan film."

 

I’m a couple of episodes into the third season. Watching it for the first time.

I’m a noob to the canon materials outside of the movies and am trying to make sense of it all.

 

If that's a fan film I'll eat my shoe. That's the same outfit in Solo. And the legs, coooooool

Obi Wan has a cameo in the upcoming Andor series.

 

It's a deep and convoluted sarlacc pit, for certain.

 

The more we get of him the better I'd say...needs to be in a lot more live action. The man loves this role anyways

 

I wouldn't be surprised to see him in more than the 6 episode series. Just like Ahsoka and Mando popped up in BOBF.

Spoiler: Skywalker

So it seems those in the Inquisitor circles knew Vader was once Anakin Skywalker. If that’s the case and Luke was openly raised as Luke Skywalker, why wouldn’t the Inquisitors go directly for him?

 

I don’t know but I was very surprised to see the story shift to Leah as a child.
Regardless, the story line so far with obi-wan being a defeated Jedi was very apropos. P

 

Maybe only the one did. I’m just really curious as to why Reva is so obsessed with Kenobi. Like the other 3 are all like he’s dead move on….

 

Spoiler: not a plot point, but kinda

Gotta admit I chuckled to see the Temuera Morrison cameo as the homeless clone trooper. Way to squeeze the milage out of that actor, but also excellent way to further rack up Obi Wan's broken spirit.

 

Spoiler: my prediction

context clues indicate that Reva is going to be the Anakin-by-Proxy character, and her eventual defeat (or dare I say, even a turn away from the dark side moment - I sincerely hope it won't go down that way) will be Obi's redemption arc. That's my guess, since her character parallels teenage-angst Anakin to a tee, ie, uncontrolled rage due to the chip on her shoulder about rough childhood and lack of recognition.

 

It was all a bit slow for me. I hope it picks up.

 

Episode 1 was for sure, I get it though. They have to build the back story after revenge of the sith and show Obiwan just being a normal person instead of a great Jedi knight. Episode 2 was much better with the story and getting more plot points rolling. With only 6 episodes total though I’m hoping things really pick up this next episode.

 

Not that he needed it for much longer…
