today's episode was so much better than all the previous episodes of this season

 

Looks like it’s Wednesdays..

 

That might have very well been the best hour of Star Wars I've ever seen. There was SO MUCH awesome, I will not spoil it, but if you watched Clone Wars and Rebels there was some really cool things

 

I haven’t disliked Boba Fett but holy $h!t today’s episode was SO good and made me miss

Me after finishing this week’s episode…

 

Yeah, I thought the season so far was painfully average and I was barely interested enough to keep watching (And I loved boba in both the EU and new cannon until now). Then today's episode came out and I was smiling like an idiot the whole way through, not a single dull moment, and blows the rest of the episodes out of the water. Kind of ironic given the circumstances...

 

Agree with y’all - that was the best yet.

 

So much win with this episode. Ron's little girl is turning into a great director like her old man. Boba for me is becoming background noise when compared to Din Djaren. Din's life quest and struggles are just more interesting and have so many tangents. A show stuck in Tatooine all season just doesn't work for me.

 

Here's my thought: Robert Rodriguez isn't as good a storyteller as he thinks he is.

Boba's story would have been SO MUCH BETTER had it had been told chronologically and not in repeated bacta flashbacks.

Open on the first episode with him going into the bacta, start the flashback, tell the ENTIRE story with the Tuskens, and then come out of the bacta healed. Episode 3 is dealing with the mayor, and episode 4 is bringing the clans together. That does enough to explain Boba's "old gunfighter looking for an earned retirement" in its rightful context and creates a tension point that makes Episode 5 a great bridge to "kicking so much Pyke ass they leave this part of the galaxy."

Boba is a great character and this story has SO MUCH POTENTIAL, but RR is trying too hard to be cool. Relax, dude, and put story first. It's worked everywhere else, and doesn't need the directorial and editorial gadgets.

 

I haven’t minded the pacing of the show. It was a little confusing with the bouncing between timelines but I got used to it. It would’ve been better told as a one off movie bridging season 2 and 3 of Mando with yesterday’s episode being episode 1 of Mando season 3

 

I was confused as shit at first. I backed out twice because I thought my wife put it on the wrong series. I was like, what the fuck is going on here? Why is he in Boba Fett? My wife wouldn't shut the fuck up either, she kept asking what happened to Boba Fett, I dont understand whats going on. CAN YOU PLEASE BE QUIET!!!!!!! It will sort out in due time just watch!!!!
