Ugg.. Closest is about 300 miles away. I hope they release it on Disney+.

 

Strange, did they put out a list yet?

 

I googled and found tickets were already on sale. I searched the IMAX site and only found a few hits on Wed and Thurs next week. This made me think it MIGHT be playing at locations closer to me but are sold out.

I think it’s a weeklong limited run. YMMV.

I bought a ticket for Sunday at a theater a few miles away. It's a reserved seating theater and it only showed five seats as unavailable. Either not going to be popular or people haven't started buying yet.

Are you on Ahsoka now or Mando season 3?

 

Mando Season 3 finished shooting months ago. I’m mostly on “Skeleton Crew” but I’m working a little on Ahsoka. I currently, while im typing this, am making some custom light bales for some lights they wanna hang and use on their Friday shoot.

 

Re: Rogue 1 at IMAX- check your local theater webpage, don’t just rely on the IMAX or Fandango. It wasn’t in either of those sites but it was in my local site.

 

I took the afternnon off yesterday and did the 2 hour drive for R1. My thoughts:

• The Andor preview was spectacular! From ground level to dogfights in space, it looks to be an epic ride.
• I never saw R1 in the theater. It was amazing on the IMAX screen.
  
• I was one of about 8 people in attendance- the only way to see a movie IMHO
• A self serve popcorn with ‘Buttery Flavoring’ drizzled all over it will maintain freshness on a 2 hour return trip
• Edit - No matter how many times I see the ending, I get a sense of sadness of all the characters whose stories come to an end (despite any prequals or fake, unreal Star Wars deaths that may come about..)

I took my GF to see it last Saturday. She liked the movie, though she did fall asleep when the Alliance was having their meeting.
