K2SO backstory more valuable to me than cassian. Seemed like after the suquels they realized people liked Poe Cameron character and they wanted to replicate that character with andor. Still very good entertainment though.

Dunno if you guys are on social media but, #battlefront3 is exploding right now. With Episode 3 back to theatres, May 4th, and Andor season 2 being absolutely amazing, SWBF2 is flying. Mind you this is just steam (which became available in 2021-4 years post launch).

Someone online who claims to have a contact at Dice reported a peak of over 100,000 players across all platforms. Given how huge this game was on console I believe that. It was also given out as a free game on the epic games store at one point for PC. And at first ALL PC players used the EA app, which many obviously still do. It's so fun being able to get back into lobbies with a 5 second wait time, and any game mode you want. Big content creators online are making videos on it too. Pretty awesome. Corny but awesome. People commenting stuff like "FOR THE REPUBLIC" and "Rebellions are built on hope" lol. At least its to the point that people who actually work at EA DICE Disney/Lucasfilm etc are seeing it. Even one of the Andor season 2 actors posted on his own Instagram about it.

 

I just want an open world bounty hunter game, or the final in the Jedi Survivor series. Online play is so toxic, I'm sure it's great fun, but not for me

 

I saw that. It's crazy how much it picked up. I'm not mad about it. More star wars video games is not a bad thing. Haah

I agree. Battlefront always felt too...quick and like I was not gaining anything from fighting. I vastly prefer the cal kestis games. But I admit I enjoy solo games a lot more

 

I'll have to dig out my copy of Dark Forces..recently acquired Rebel Assault II

 

They had the whole bundle on the PS store not long ago for like $7. It was like all the old games.

 

I still get the urge to play empire at war every now and then. RTS games are fun only occasionally for me

 

I still have the discs and PS1..yikes I'm old

 

Um. . . I used to play X-Wing and then Tie Fighter on PC. It was like 5 floppies and ran on DOS. I think I had a Thrustmaster joystick at the time. Those were good games.

Agree on the Cal Kestis games, I'd take another anytime.
