Meh, I like Rey. I thought her and Finn were a good combo. My only complaint is that you can tell the story line has been dumbed down to allow a younger audience follow it, but it's still fucking Star Wars!

I think the whole Luke daddy/daughter thing is too obvious, but like I said, they're making the story easier to follow. It's just like all 3d movies: they appeal to you with CGI and the story suffers because of it. That being said, I'm hoping future installments have more substance, which I think us die-hards will get our fix from with Rogue One.

I feel like the last line of that clip, "may the force be with us", was said almost sarcastically as if she's not a believer of it which would make that all the more interesting. I could be wrong of course.

Ok, just read all 57 pages. 1) I'm 47 and grew up with the originals. 4/5/6 ranked in order of happiness for me. 2) Absolutely hated episode 1 because I felt that it was made for kids to get a new audience and Jar fucking Jar sucked . 3) Liked Episode 2 better but Anakin was a little whiny. 4) Loved Episode 3 because it was Darker and that lightsaber battle. 5). Absofuckinglutely hated 7. I almost walked out. Honestly it would have been better if they used the puppets from Crank Yankers for the main characters. It is such a complete tongue in cheek rip-off. This is the only series of movies That I have ever loved...Not anymore. I still get teary eyed at the end of Episode 3. Not afraid to admit it. I mean I really loved these movies. Never collected any merchandise just loved the movies. But Episode 7 just ruined the future of the series for me. I'll still watch 1-6 every 6 mos. or so but,... fuck...Yes I'll probably go see the next one. Fuck............................... Thank-you for your time.

I just don't understand that. Maybe its a generation gap or something. I get that Star Wars is a beloved fan series, I'm a fan as well, and while I agree with the synopsis of 1-3, and 4-6 are always good, but not quite bringing a tear to my eye, I thought 7 was pretty good. Granted, it felt like alot of the same themes, but you know what, from an action movie standpoint, it was kickass. And 99% of the action movies these days steal scenes or themes from other movie alllllll the time. I think before everyone goes all nutso and says 7 is ruining the series (just like everyone said about 1-3 when they released) let see what all the rest look like and see how it turns out. 7 was pretty good, 8 might be good but Fin could be a whiny bitch the whole movie and then 9 will be fucking epic. You never know.

If they didn't have a Yuge Death Star Part 3 it would've been so much better. But I still like 7 regardless. The only thing that I found they took from other movies was that. But thats just me :notsure:

anyone else think Vader hired Fett to intercept the thieves of the plans. Then kills most the characters in Rogue One after he realizes they already gave them to Leah? I only think this because that would make sense why Vader says "no disintegrations" in Empire Strikes Back.

Also will introduce Fett into the new part of the series.
