I thought Rogue 1 was OK, but suffered horribly by dialogue that didn't seem to flow and music that was mismatched and subpar. Music can enhance many of the battle scenes which it failed to do. The ending was pretty nice though, but the rest of the movie; meh.

Wow, that is so sad they don't need people to make movies anymore.

Agreed. Saw it opening night and am a huge SW fan, was looking forward to it.

It was very good but could have been so much better I think. The music just didn't go with the movie and dialogue dragged, the droid sucked, etc.

I did love the fights, the storyline, Vader, Tarkin and all the Easter eggs in the movie (a ton of them if you look closely at each scene). Ill buy it and its much better than all the prequels (what isn't?).

Thought it would be even darker with better main characters but was good. Looking forward to Ep8.

Just rewatched Ep 4, and so much of Rogue One fits perfectly into it. Very cleverly structured.

Indeed. Seamless. Garth Edwards and Kathleen Kennedy did a great job working it back and integrating the Easter eggs in the movie. Will see it again in the theater next week. Maybe Vader gets the plans this time around. ;)

Without giving anything away, my wife even said that it makes the beginning of Ep 4 make SOOO much more sense. "Why is everyone so afraid of this Darth guy and why are these people running from him? NOW we know!"

I loved Rogue One but you are dead on with that observation. The eyes on Grand Moff Tarkin were freaking me out and Leia (only on screen for a minute) looked completely fake.

Well Leia is still alive, but older and heavier... and since she acted in Star Wars VI, I figured it was heavy make-up as it really made her look puffy. Tarkin's eyes were freaky, and I knew he had to be dead as he was old in 1977!
